Where is the Best Trendy Scene in Las Vegas, Nevada?
Depending on your taste… get there early! We got there early, had plenty of parking and an easy table. Early service was excellent and quick, but as the night rolled on our waitress disappeared and we had to fight for a spot at the bar (bartenders were awesome by the way). The food was below average. Later on in the night the trendy relaxed atmosphere turned into an overcrowded nightclub where conversation was impossible. The bathrooms are way too small for the late night crowd and not kept clean at all. So, unless you like the loud and overcrowded – go early for before or after dinner drinks and leave before 10 or 11pm.Pros + Good drinksCons – , Parking
I ate there a few years back and had one of the best steaks and overall meals of my life and I have lived in wonderful food cities such as Chicago and New Orleans. The steak was incredible, every bite made me pause and reflect and how awesome it was. The lobster bisque was to die for. The second time I ate there it was not as good. I think everything suffered because it was so busy. It was still very good but not nearly as an enjoyable meal as the first time. I would eat there again but I would go right when they open to avoid the bar-club atmoshpere of when it gets busy.
I loved this place. We had so much fun staying here. The people at the front desk were super nice and sweet and helped us in figuring out how to get around town and where to go. Our room was a great size and it was really cheap. (Off season, or course) I’ve never stayed here before, but I’ll totally stay here again!Pros + Great room, fun atmosphere
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas and I love introducing friends to it. The tapas style menu makes it great for small to medium sized groups. You also get a lot of variety for a very reasonable price. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and this is my list of favorite dishes and the ones I’d pass on.FavoritesArtichoke toasts- My boyfriend who doesn’t even like artichokes, likes this one.Stuffed Dates- Great flavors and textures. The sweetness from the dates and saltiness from the bacon and blue cheese are such a wonderful combination. The red wine reduction really brings it all together and the almond adds a nice crunch.Albondigas- Just well done meatballs in marinara.Ham and cheese croquetas- Fried meat and cheese, it’s a little hard to go wrong there.Merguez- A flavorful lamb sausage served with red pepper and tomato confit. The sweetness from the confit compliments the slightly spicy sausage nicely.Firefly* fish sticks- Fried tilapia fillets with
We own a resort in St.Lucia and as a result I visit travel and adventure trade shows all over the country and usually entertain some of our regular suppliers during such visits. I took a party of 10 to Mix last week. What a great space. Definitely impressive, and amazingly good acoustics, given the disco drum in the bar not too far away from the restaurant. I thought that the menu was excellent and all at our table very much enjoyed the dining experience. Being the host of the table, my only beef would be with the service which left me totally unimpressed and even annoyed. Since we have our own restaurants I tend to look at service very analytically. Could there be a reason we would have been ignored for 10 minutes after being seated ? Were they extremely busy at that time ? No, they were not. When I finally attracted a server, he started out by saying that he was not our server but would assist. We placed our drinks order, which eventually arrived. After that time, we never saw that s
