Where is the Best Trendy Scene in Indianapolis, Indiana?
I love eating on the patio, although I find the interior of the restaurant somewhat boring. The food is excellent, although the menu is a bit limited for main dishes. Desserts are wonderful, as are the appetizers. Each dish is exquisitely prepared and appealing. Wonderful cappacino, too–we would go there just for this.Pros + Atmosphere, Unique foodCons – Parking limited
The only place in town to get a gyro on french bread with feta and mozzarella. It’s wicked tasty. I gotta say I’m not a fan of the metal porch seats inside. They hurt my bony bum. The lobster bisque was good and the service was excellent. The “Ultimate Gyro” is worth trying if you are into gyro’s. Being on the corner with windows on 2 outa three sides of the restaurant it gets chilly in there in the winter. That was kind of bothersome for this bald guy. I wanted to wear my hat. The salad dressing! You know salad dressing made with feta is inherently yummy, but theirs beats most places easily. Jammy at 08:14 PM on 03/01/08
My girlfriend and I were surprised by my Uncle and taken out here when we came into town. We didn’t know we were coming to such a nice place and were underdressed and taken aback. I felt bad because I felt it was a very nice place, but the wait staff made us feel very comfortable. I love that they bring out cuts of meat and seafood on a cart to your table to show you ahead of time. The staff was VERY well prepared and willing to answer any and all questions and made some great reccomendations. The meats that we all got were probably one of, if not THE, best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been in some very fine restaurants. The atmosphere is very intriguing and intimate. Very classy yet very comfortable. I would reccomend to anybody and everybody.Pros + EXCELLENT Service, Meats, AmbienceCons – A bit pricey, but worth it
Palomino is a nice, upscale casual dining establishment in downtown Indy. It is located right beside the Circle Centre Mall and within walking distance of many, many downtown attractions and businesses. Service is typically top-notch, and the food is very good. Be willing to spend a little more than you might expect- it is worth a trip.
