Where is the Best Therpeutic Massage in New York, New York?
I must say the reason i am giving this 4 stars is because the treatments were really great. Jason gave me an amazing hot stone massage and I highly recommend him. However, if you are looking for a relaxing day at the spa, this is not it. Its, well, Chelsea Piers Sports Complex. Not a spa with common areas to mill around and relax, as may others are. There are just treatment rooms and a sitting are to sip tea. Nice but not a SPA DAY experience if you’re looking for it. If you want to use the pool, jacuzzi you have to wear a swimming cap and dodge the speed swimmers doing laps. Also you have to walk through a VERY busy common area in your robe to use the pool jacuzzi, definitely akward.Pros + great treatmentsCons – its not really a spa…

Walked in off the street last week and met Rena and she sat down with me, and we discussed options with color, dealng with the dryness and gray hair. Made an appointment for the following day. Rena told me that she had thought about my hair and repaired my hair and cut it. She took three hours with me and when I walked out, I really felt like I had been taken care of by a family member – she is that thoughtful, caring and really knows her color. I appreciate the years of experience she brings with her and her knowledge of the business. She also knew the keeping the youthfulness of my color was important and I really appreciated how she didn’t push her thoughts on me and allowed me to feel very comfortable. I love the fact that they have so much space to make a cozy, romantic lounge where you can relax, enjoy a cup of tea in your robe before or after the treatment. I went there to treat myself for my birthday and was very pleased. I had micro dermabrassion and the lady was really good. Next time i will go there with a date because they have rooms where they can treat 2 people in the same time. Very nice place! Pros + atmosphereCons – a little bit pricy
I came across Dyanna Spa after seeing that it won for Best of New York for waxing, and was extremely pleased to noticed that it’s only a few blocks away from me in Gramercy Park! I called for an appointment and was relieved to find out they had time to book me that same day being that I was going on vacation the day after. I had a bikini and full leg wax done, as well as eyebrow threading. The whole process was fairly QUICK AND PAINLESS, the salon was extremely clean and cozy and Sabina the girl that performed everything was beyond sweet and professional. Now I know why this salon received a top rank for best of NYC for hair removal! Being such a hit or miss service, it’s amazing to know that there are salons that can deliver such great quality at such a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend it and will be back next month!You are the best,fast and painless…….Do not listen to those who going to tell you otherwise. my coworker recommended to go to this spa to get massage and facial by Ela. I took couple friends with me: We had facial by Ela and Marta which was very different from other places. They really focus on your skin and recommend products depending on your skin type. This facial and products i had is already working perfectly for me and my friends. They have their own line : cleanser and fruit toner is amazing! After facials we had 60 min massage with : Susan, Crystal and Nadia. All of us were very happy and relaxed after. After we finished our day with manicures by: Viorica, Marina and Margarita. They really take time to clean and massage hands. The manicure takes about 30 min which is amazing. Overall the service was amazing from the minute you walk into the spa the front desk girls are very welcomming to offer tea or coffee before you start your treatments. I highly recommend to go their and relax from busy new york lifestyle.
