Where is the Best Thai Massage in Seattle, Washington?
It can be stressful and a bit nerve wracking going to a new salon and new stylist but I am so happy with my experience at Oasis. I had been going to the same stylist for years while attending school in Bellingham. Even after moving back to Woodinville I continued to make a trip to Bellingham to continue seeing my stylist because I trusted her and I loved what she did with my hair, every time. After a year of making trips up there to get my hair done I decided it’d be a good idea to find a local stylist. I had gone to Beauty First in the past and knew that my old stylist, Ami (who is great by the way!) had moved to Oasis Spa & Salon. I wasn’t able to get in with Ami but ended up with Heidi instead and was so incredibly happy with the results! My sister had gotten her hair done with Heidi in the past so I knew that she did a great job. The cut and the color have been amazing every time and the overall experience has been wonderful. Heidi is very friendly, laid back, and there’s never an
After an exceptionally difficult couple of months, I decided to treat myself to a spa day and chose the Spa at Willows Lodge for my destination. I had the good fortune to have Dusty do my anti aging facial – a wonderful treat! Next was a pedicure that I would rate as just average partly due to the location and appointments of the pedicure room. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch followed by an anti-aging body wrap and the most wonderful 90 minute hot stone massage which were perfectly executed by Nancy. I will definitely be back and would recommend this spa to anyone looking for the ultimate in pamperingPros + Excellent staff and great servicesCons – Spa itself is quite small and not too glamorous.
I love Zum. I was intimidated to go at first. It was so nice looking that I thought that it meant snobby and pretentious, but I was COMPLETELY wrong. I have never been at a gym where everyone was so nice and down to earth. After my tour, I met a trainer Kathryn who invited me to her class the next day. I was scared to go, but I gave my word so I went. Kathryn remembered me, and the class totally kicked my butt and I joined the next week. The thing I love the most is that people really go to the gym to work out. I have been a member of 24 hour fitness and was a loyal member of Gold?s. I hated the meat-market feel, that people were more interested in how they looked or that they looked like they knew what they were doing more than working out itself. I also hated that it was so busy; I could never use the equipment I wanted. Zum is completely the opposite, its nice people who care about taking care of their health-not just how they look in their clothes. I am a younger member of the gym,
I was approached by Catherine on the 1st day of the West Seattle Street Fair. She gave me samples, and said she was a stylist at Shanti. She was very exotic looking, and young and fresh-faced. I didn’t know there was an Aveda salon and spa in West Seattle, but it is really far north of the junction, where I usually spend my time. I went again to the street fair and I saw another woman with Aveda samples, so I had to get more. She was the owner, and she made sure I had sunblock on my face -which the product was nice, not too greasy. She was spraying the kids with flower water to cool them off. I saw her and another stylist on the last day of the fair and, I really connected with her with that stylist, …we have similar hair, her name is Megan. She gave me the best cut today I ever had. I also saw Regine an instructor from the Aveda Institute for a manicure and pedicure. She was so sweet, and also does skin care, and massage at Shanti, I asked her why she also didn’t cut hair! But, then
Whenever you walk into Dreamclinic you’re walking into a world of relaxation right from the start. As you ascend their stairs to the front desk you’re greeted with colorful, yet calming images, and a pleasant and helpful staff. With each step you take you find yourself leaving the stresses of the day behind. I love coming to Dreamclinic for this very reason. This was my 3rd massage that I’ve received from them and each experience has been wonderfully different. I previously came in for a 60-minute and 90-minute massage, but this time I scheduled only a 30-minute. I was concerned that this wouldn’t be the most fulfilling experience since it typically takes me a 1/2 hour just to unwind and feel the benefits of the massage, but considering the fact that the relaxation starts from the moment you walk in the door, I felt like I was still getting value for every bit of time I was there. I met with a therapist named Amalia who had a great energy about her right from the start. She was
