Where is the Best Thai Food in Providence, Rhode Island?
I had the same waiter both times I’ve dined here (6 mths apart). It’s kind of comforting, b/c if the waitstaff is happy, then your dining experience is better. Mediterraneo serves the best mashed potatoes ever to grace my palate. I would recommend the antipasto for 2. Great service & attention to detail. On my second trip, we were served complimentary Limoncellos.Pros + valet parking, great service
This is my favorite Thai restaurant for many reasons. Tommy is the best waiter, funny, personable, accomodating. The food is fresh, well made, presented prettily. I can honestly say I have not had one disappointing dish there. I really like the spicy curried fish, it’s a little crispy and in a delicious sauce.
Had a dinner here while in town and it was a most pleasant experience. Reasonably-priced wine list and the most perfectly cooked veal medallions (one of the specials) I’ve had in a long time. The sauce was a bit oversweet, but the meat alone was transcendent. The curry lobster was delicious and the service was friendly and warm. Appetizers of oysters on the half-shell were fine, but without any interesting mignonette or dips. Littlenecks were a superb blend of eastern and western flavors. We had to wait 20-30 beyond our reservation time for our table, but the lounge downstairs was serving tasting portion of a delicious local sparking wine, and that helped to pass the time. A jewel in the ever-pleasing city of Providence.
