Where is the Best Thai Food in Charlotte, North Carolina?
If you want the best Ceviche made in Charlotte. Only in Charlotte, then this is the place to go to. Jalea is also recommended but anything else is not. Avoid asking for rotisserie Chicken or any other dish. The place is not a fun place to hang in, but I attend to it every weekend to eat my Ceviche.
My first time visiting Deejai was great! I have been looking for a Thai restaurant that has “glass” noodles for a few years (my girlfriend thought I made up glass noodles). I had them on multiple trips to large cities like NYC, Toronto, Chicago, but had not luck finding them in CLT. The owner and staff were very friendly and I felt very comfortable here (can’t say that for most other Thai restaurants in Charlotte). 2 Entrees and a couple glasses of wine were all we needed to be completely satisfied as the portions were pretty big. I’m confident you’ll like it once you try it after reading this. Insider TIP: parking lot gets nuts b/c of the movie theatre, be ready to fight for a spot. Pros + Reasonable price…friendly staffCons – parking lot is a mess when busy
