To the previous “Contract Driver “, who wrote below me, I dont understand how everyone else can be doing decently, yet you make nothing at all. There are many calls that come in daily (over 100,000 calls per month). Divide that by about 250 drivers spread over a 24 hour day. I work in dispatch, and I am treated very well by this company. They pay me more way more than what Green Cab used to pay me. They also provide 100% company paid medical and dental for me. They also provide me sick pay and vacation pay. Also, they are the only cab company that actually gives back to the community every Christmas by providing dinners to needy families. Yes, there are drivers who don’t do well, but they are generally the drivers who don’t pick-up families and individuals waiting at grocery stores or are only going short distances. I stumbled upon Astra Limo Service this summer when I traveled every week for business. My schedule was hectic, and changed frequently with very little notice. Galina set me up on an account on my first trip — I never had to have my card or cash with me after that. I told her the tip amount to add to each trip, and by the time I made it in the door, I had a receipt e-mailed to me for the trip. Sergey is a fantastic driver. I haven’t had occassion to ride with him for a couple of months, but he was downtown the other day, spotted me and shouted out a quick “hello.” He even rememberd my first name! This company makes you feel like you are a part of their family. Flying home after an exhausting week, I can’t tell you how happy I was to see Sergey or the other drivers waiting for me. I wanted to take a moment to address the feedback by Joshua. I was very sad to learn about his experience. I believe our staff is one of the finest in the city. We truly care about our guests and their needs. After speaking with the reservationist that handled your call, I agree that feeling like you were not receiving our full attention was warrented. That Friday was exceptionally busy and we should have had an additional staff member on duty to handle the call volume we were experiencing. Next, during the reservation, we discussed the challenges with your housing complex. The address did not validate and the units are not sequentially numbered.
