Where is the Best Taxi/Limo in Austin, Texas?
I rented one of Pink Car’s pink limos for my mother for her birthday. They were able to fill the limo with her favorite magazines, sodas, and even had a beautiful bouquet of flowers inside for her. The limo took her around time to a local spa and then to lunch with a group of her friends. She had a wonderful time and said that she has never felt so pampered and important in all her life.Pros + Personalized, Professional, Fun
More than once I had to drive myself to the airport because they didn’t show up. Today they didn’t show up twice! They caused me to miss one flight so I scheduled a later flight and later taxi and they didn’t show up again! They come to my house on a regular basis, they know where it is, I’m in their system with directions and they still fail to show up twice in one day. Again, this was not the first time I had to drive myself to the airport because of these idiots. You simply can not depend on them.Pros + Can’t think of any.Cons – Drive too slow., can’t follow directio, unreliable.
I had trouble understanding the driver, first off. He needs to learn to speak clearly for a start. And I was in a hurry, and he didn’t get there soon enough to make the taxi fare worth while. All in all, it saved me 15 minutes tops. On top of that, he accused me of being rude and shutting the door too hard. For Pete’s sake, those doors are quite heavy for a small person like me, and I had to slide it pretty hard to shut it. I probably won’t ride Yellow Cab if that’s the service I get.All in all, I haven’t found taxis a very reliable form of transportation for locals. Perhaps I should wait for rail.Pros + Not muchCons – Not easy to hail a cab these days, had to go to a hotel to get one. And the driver not nice
I rented a Rockin’ Ride bus for my 40th birthday celebration with about a dozen people. The bus has a well for icing down drinks, a video/karaoke system, smoke machine, lights, great interior. The driver was really nice and while several of us were having dinner he went and picked up another friend who planned to join us after dinner. It was great fun and I absolutely want to do it again sometime.Pros + just about everythingCons – it is a bus so sometimes the ride is a little bumpy
