Where is the Best Tattoo/Piercing in Houston, Texas?
Shaws is fantastic. My husband, daughter, son and I have been there a total of 5 times. This place is so clean you could eat off the floor. Everyone is so nice and patient, especially with first timers. They are seasoned tattoo artists that know their craft. If you want a great tattoo, this is the place to go. The only time I was uncomfortable was when they played a couple of songs that were very off color, but hey – I am a 52 year old woman. I have to realize that comes with the ambiance. What was I expecting – church music??! They are very attentive, calming and true experts. I have two tattoos from there and will be getting my third one soon. I recently went to another place with my son, and they were so rude, we ended up walking out. I’ll just say they are in the Conroe/Woodlands area, and the name has something to do with “monkeys”… I will only go back to Shaws. You should, too. Pros + great workCons – a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
I have had a piercing and two tattoos done here and loved it. My piercing experience was terrific. They were kind, professional, clean, everything you could wish. I loved that they walked me through everything they did and how everything was sterilized, and they were great about explaining the aftercare procedures and answering questions.As for my tattoos, my husband and I both had a tattoo done there right after our wedding. Jared Green did mine, and he was terrific. He used my artwork, and we discussed it and he tweaked it a little so that it would pop a bit more. He was completely reassuring and kind and funny. Again, he walked me through everything he was doing, so I felt completely informed about what was happening and good about the cleanliness and hygiene practices.I knew I’d go back for my next tattoo and I did. Again, Jared was my artist and I loved how professional and nice he was. He didn’t love the design I brought in, and asked if I was willing to discuss it.
i just went to Taurian to get a body piercing. I was referred here through a friend and im so happy i went here. I was very nervous because it was my nipples. Being a girl, i was a little nervous but very excited. Byriah educated me on the jewelry he was going to use and he walked me through every step, ensuring that everything would be fine. He is very professional and very relaxed. He made sure the position was perfect and he made me feel relaxed, since i knew he was very experienced with piercing. i would totally recommend going to him for your future piercings. It was my first time getting a tattoo and I was soooo scared but the guys at TTE totally helped me to relax. The artist’s name was Steve, and he was a pretty easy going guy he did an amazing job and although they are a little pricey I wouldnt go anywhere else. The artwork was totally amazing and came out exactly like I wanted it. My husband was the one that told me about TTE and had gotten one from there as well several months before and the older guy that did his JC knows how to keep conversation interesting(in a good way!) while still keeping his attention on his amazing work. The atmosphere is kinda rocker and the guys look intimidating but they are easy to get along with. They are very professional and clean as well. I’m definitely looking forward to my next tattoo and i know my husband is as well. TTE is the place to go if you are looking for artists with skill and cleanliness. Pros + Free touch ups for lifeCons – Slightly pricey, but worth every penny
