Where is the Best Tattoo in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
I saw a friend’s tattoo and was amazed by the quality. A mountainlion on the shoulder. It was photorealistic and very 3 dimensional. When I saw that tattoo, I knew I wanted the artist who inked it to do my first tattoo. His name was Shahn Anderson and his shop is Electric Dragonland. I was lucky because it’s right in my general area, so I could stop by and talk with him a couple of times before haing the work done.Shahn is a wonderful, enthusiastic, supportive and knowlegable artist. He put me at ease, listened to my ideas, asked great questions, and made some reccomendations to make my first experience great. I had to wait 4 months to get time slot, but it was worth it.Shahn’s work is amazing. Every time I show the tat off, I get compliments and close examination of the incredible detail and depth of the work. His work was clean/. I have one tattoo which was not done at Linda’s but I have gotten a belly button, tongue, and nose piercing done there. I have a feeling the person who did ALL 3 of my peircings was one of the staff who walked out. I see that Linda regularly checks this site and I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that for my next tattoo(once I can afford it) i’m comin to you girl! I’ve seen dozens of your pieces and I don’t know what these fools are talking about! You’re a genious, keep doin what you’re doin! The only negative is the one tattoo I do have, i wanted to have done at your shop. I had called asking if you accept walk ins and was told you do so I came in on a Friday and then Saturday night wanting simple lettering done and was told I would have to wait hours which is WHY i didn’t get it done there. I have gone to Grand Tattoos twice now for 2 large pieces. I had gotten a few tattoos other places prior to going to Grand Tattoos, but a friend who had a very nice sleeve done at Grand suggested me going there for a correction of one my botched tattoos. My artist- Xoel, is a perfectionist, and works very long and hard to give his customers exactly what they want. I then went back to Xoel to get 2 very large sparrows on my back, and left so please with the work done. Xoel has much experience and a love for art.
