Where is the Best Tattoo in Charlotte, North Carolina?
I have been getting tattoo’d for 8 years and stuck with the same person for my first 6 until I moved out of state from Maine to North Carolina. I love my artist back home so much that I was very hesitant to go anywhere else. I was getting the itch to get another tattoo so I started to ask around, two people I worked with 3 years ago went to a place in Mooresville and their tattoos were really good so I checked out the guy they went to. He was really good and I felt comfortable with him, he took his work seriously and was very much a perfectionist, I went to him twice and got 3 tattoos. Then I found out he was a creep and was soliciting things from girls when they were alone in his room with him, I was never gonna go back there again but I was stuck, where would I go now? I asked around again and no one could give me a decent name so I researched for myself. I live in Salisbury and I looked at places within 2 hours of here because a good artist is worth the travel. I am new to Charlotte and tried this salon twice so far. Once for color – loved it. And another for a cut – loved that too! I received comments on my hair immediately afterwards by strangers on the street. I must agree, however, about the front desk. The first time I walked in, I almost walked right back out. The front desk was scowling and unfriendly and I really got this snobbish feeling from them. They barely spoke, really didn’t smile, and I don’t believe they even said thank you. The owner or manager (not sure which one he was) was very pleasant and friendly though. The front desk kind of ruins the whole pleasant, spa-like experience. They are the first ones and the last ones you see so it kind of strips away the great experience of the scalp massage, beauty treatment, hair style once you have to go past the front desk.Yeah, they try to push products on you, but so does everyone – even the people in the mall kiosks or the service staff in restaurants. Everyone has s
The first time I went in for an advice on my piercing I got from another shop in town (I won’t mention the name here but you can email me if you want to know what went wrong and which shop) The piercer was very courteous and gave me reasonable advice, plus the aftercare stuff even though I did not get pierced at their shop. So I went back a month later and get my first tattoo from Jim, also the owner of Krazy Kats. It turned out perfectly, and I had many compliment on it. I highly recommend this place. Krazy Kats, you now have another loyal customer- DandyPros + good artists, good service, and overall a good timeCons – nothing
