Where is the Best Tanning Salon in New York, New York?
I stopped in spontaneously after having the worst breakout of my adult life to see if i could get an appointment that same day (they give 20% off for new walkins right now even, but this was my 2nd visit here). The facialist was amazing! she was personable and gave me suggestions about my skin situation, and spent SO much time on doing the extractions properly and thoroughly, and my skin is on it’s way to recovering! I was really impressed with her efforts and the masks she used…this even included a nice shoulder and neck massage. For the $65 price, i definitely feel i got my money’s worth. It was low key, they do not push products at all and they took me on time and didn’t rush the facial. it even ran a little longer than the hour it was supposed to last, and i really appreciated that too. if you live in the east village, there’s no reason to pay more or travel out of the neighborhood. this place is great.Pros + friendly staff, no attitude, clean, punctualCons – none t
I was in Florida for years getting a natural glow. But, when i located back to my NY roots I hated being pale all the time. I have been to numerous tanning salons, tried their monthly specials, tried their beds and no one compares to EZ Tanning. This place has friendly staff, nice decor, top of the line beds and have an extensive line of lotions. They have great hours that are convienent for my schedule. I know for a fact that they maintain a clean and safe enviornment. I remember I sweat my butt off on their level 5 bed which I got phenomenal color from and as soon as I said goodbye, the guy at the counter ran in with disinfectant and a towel to clean up. In regards to the idiots comment ( who definitely is a hater/competitor) that cant get his own business they have a buzzer just to get in the building which means they dont let everyone in. I am in the beauty business and was looking for a tanning salon in the city to send my clients to. City Sun is close to my business so I thought it would be a great match for my clients. From the moment I walked in I felt great. The waiting area is soo beautiful. Complimentary bottled water, a staff that greated you warmly and who knew everything about indoor tanning. There beds are the most amazing that I have seen in the city. I used the sunboard bed and it was amazingly cool and comfortable. Satallite radio in each bed that you can actually listen to with great headphones WOW! I chose to listen to the ocean waves channel #1 put me right in a 15 min vacation. Not only did I walk out with an amazingly bronze glow but I felt like I just had a mini vacation away from new york city. I am now going to recommend City Sun Tanning to all of my clients. Being completely clueless about how this tanning business works, I walk into this beautifully designed tanning salon to try to get some kind of color because I’m so pale. The sales woman behind the counter explained how everything worked. When I tell you this place has everything to offer, I mean they have everything!!! Who would have thought that tanning could be so complicated and there were so many things to choose from. I found out that each machine does something different for you. It was just all too cool. I got a package deal where I can either do the tanning bed or the sunless tan which is great by the way and they gave me a whole bunch of free sessions!!!! oh it gets better, since I got a package, I can tan every sunday for free!!!! yesss for free!!!! all i have to do is buy a $5 lotion which you need anyway!! It’s so great….I only been twice and I have gotten so many compliments already!!! def check this place out and it was really clean and well maintaned!!!!Pros +
