Where is the Best Tanning Salon in Charlotte, North Carolina?
It was my first experience with spray tanning. I am 65 years old and was quiet nervous about the experience. I wanted to get the tan because I was extremely light skinned and was going to a class reunion where I had not seen my friends in 47 years. I wanted naturally to look my best. So I went in for a glowing tan. The lady there was so sweet and so nice to me. She made me feel so comfortable. She helped me make the decisions on how much tanning I would need and made me extremely comfortable with the entire process. She was so professional and looked so cute in her pink uniform. The boutique is very fashionable and beautiful and you feel so comfortable and relaxed with the entire process.She sprayed me and it was absolutely a gorgeous glo!!My tan was so beautiful that I did not even need to apply my makeup as my face just had a beautiful warm glow to it. I’ve been tanning at Palm Beach Tan for almost 2 years. First, at an older location, now they are branching off everywhere! I was considered a hard core tanner for the longest time (4-5 days per week) and never had a bad experience with staff, sanitation, any of the 3 level or standup beds, ir with Mystic Tan.I do prefer the newer locations–they look very nice, the level 3 beds are much better, staff very pleasant, I can’t say enough. Try it out, if you tan. And if using Mystic Tan, remember the first time is probably going to streak but next time it will be much better. I’ve been a member of several tanning salons, but this place is the best yet 🙂 Oh…I love the hours of operation…M-F 7AM-11PM, S and Sun 8AM-10PM. WHo else is open at 11 PM? Urbana, as a teabar, offers an excellent variety of quality teas from around the world (100+). They also offer wine and several delicious appetizers. They also sell quality tea-related products. As a lounge, the environment is very conducive to relaxation. The decor, furniture, and continuous sounds of lounge, downtempo, and world music create a very chill atmosphere. As a massage parlor, they offer nothing but the best massage services by a very qualified and friendly staff. I highly recommend frequenting Urbana. I am new to Charlotte and tried this salon twice so far. Once for color – loved it. And another for a cut – loved that too! I received comments on my hair immediately afterwards by strangers on the street. I must agree, however, about the front desk. The first time I walked in, I almost walked right back out. The front desk was scowling and unfriendly and I really got this snobbish feeling from them. They barely spoke, really didn’t smile, and I don’t believe they even said thank you. The owner or manager (not sure which one he was) was very pleasant and friendly though. The front desk kind of ruins the whole pleasant, spa-like experience. They are the first ones and the last ones you see so it kind of strips away the great experience of the scalp massage, beauty treatment, hair style once you have to go past the front desk.Yeah, they try to push products on you, but so does everyone – even the people in the mall kiosks or the service staff in restaurants.
