Where is the Best Tanning Salon in Boston, Massachusetts?
I found my experiences at Bare Bottom Tan great. The staff is well informed and very friendly, most of all accommodating! It feels like they change their bulbs more often then any other place I’ve gone to. They also have the STRONGEST bed in the WORLD called the MATRIX. Everyone is talking about this bed! I tried it and couldnt believe the color I got in ONE session!!!! They also know a ton about skin and lotions and determined which lotion was best for my skin type! Overall I would not only go back again and again but I would and do send people in to this clean, friendly, well informed, strong bulbed tanning salon!Pros + stong beds and booths, quick sessions, certified staffCons – none
I tried their “Double Dip” procedure. WOW, it was awesome. First, you go into their 3 second spray booth and then you go into one of their stand-up booths and presto! you have a tan. This girl named Teresa showed me how to do it and it really works. I also use this stuff in a can to touch-up after six days or so, that way I don’t have to go back so often (the tan lasts about 6 days, then starts to fade). I have tried the Mystic Tan machine before, but this Instant Tan machine is 10 times faster. Mystic Tan takes several minutes and Hollywood Tans machine is only 3 seconds! Try this place out. The staff is great, so friendly and they are offering a Free Week of tanning, so cool.Pros + Cleanest tanning experience I’ve ever had.Cons – none
i was pleasantly surprised by this great salon located on the edge of the North End in the Mercantile building, great stand-up booths, and awesome lotion prices, the lowest i have seen, even in small town salons, the help was friendly, cute and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this salon to both first time and experienced tanners alike!!! great hours also, they are open till 8pm weeknights, and 6pm on saturday, they are closed sundays so watch out for that, prices were great, and much less than any other salon in boston.
Le Mani the best place for skin care around. It is only about 15 minutes north of the city and you can easily find parking nearby. Their expertise is skin care and they are committed to only the best products (only chemical free) and techniques. They recently got a microdermabrasion machine that does wonders for the skin. It is especially useful for teens whose skin cannot handle harsh peels, but it has really made a difference on my skin and I am 31. They also do massage, threading, waxing and chemical peels. I have been to Bella Sante for several facials and they cannot compare to Le Mani. Gail, the owner, is so committed and caring to her customers and her services it is unreal. She promotes personalized service. She is constantly updating her services to include the best products and techniques/machines. I started going there 7 years ago with very bad skin ? Forever Tan has to be one of the nicest tanning salons I’ve ever been to. The entire place is very clean (the booths are sanitized after each use) and the atmosphere is relaxing, the waiting area is pleasant.After I filled out a brief questionnaire and signed legal waivers, the friendly staff instructed me on how to use their booths. The time goes by so much more quickly when you can listen to XM Radio while standing there for 7+ minutes. Eye protection is provided (the little eye stickers, but if you have your own goggles, bring those). There was plenty of space to get changed in the booth area, which I found convenient because I’m usually the person who comes in and leaves clothes, my bag, etc. strewn about the floor. The complimentary water is a nice touch. I like to cool and dry off with the citrusy towels provided.
