Where is the Best Tanning Salon in Atlanta, Georgia?
This place seems to try a little harder than the rest to provide quality service. I guess this has been already recognized as it is the official Tanning Salon for the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders. I have tried both the beds and spray tans and have been equally satisfied. The staff is nice, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere adapts to the name of the salon; which I thought was really cool. I don?t think I could go to another salon and have the same experience. Pros + Great parking, atmosphere and pricesCons – There is only one location
I booked an entire day for both me and my boyfriend. They closed of the shower, sauna ,jacuzzi area so that we could have it to ourselves for 30 minutes. Facials were relaxing and educational – the best so far. I don’t really remember my full body massage, so I guess it was average. The Vichy experience was wonderful and left my skin glowing for days. It’s my first, so I want to try other day spas and compare. The shirodhara was very intense and put my into a deeply relaxed state. Unfortunately, I was ripped from my dreamlike trance when the oil ran out and began an arrhythmical drip on my forehead. This became disturbing after a minute, so I shifted and it fell into my eye which stung. This was an accident of which I’m sure if I did it again, wouldn’t repeat itself. Conversations were light and humorous, especially when we were both wrapped up like warm burritos in our seaweed wrap. Our massage therapists were very attuned to our personalities, and always addressed our needs
Very nice tanning salon and very nice ladies working up front. The beds there are very good never been in a bed for so little time and got so much color. My tan this year has just taken a few weeks not a few months when at other salons. I have saved money by going here and will be able to cut my tanning in half because I have gotten so much color! Love this place! Pros + get color faster with the good beds.Cons – none
I chose SalonMe based on the CitySearch reviews. I wanted my first Brazilian wax, and made an appointment at SalonMe. Due to Sejal being gone for maternity leave, I had an appointment with Dora. Dora was quite pushy, offensive, and made me feel very uncomfortable. I won’t go into the details for my disappointment because the real reason I am writing is to laud SalonMe for their reaction. After my appointment with Dora, I was still bewildered and quite upset about my experience, which was so unlike those reported on CitySearch. I wrote to SalonMe, providing details of my experience. I promptly received this response from the owner: “Thank you for contacting us and letting us know about your experience with Dora… Sejal is currently on maternity leave until the 21st of this month…Dora has only been with us for a very short time and I thank you for confirming my suspicions about her integrity and the quality of her work.
