Where is the Best Tanning Salon in Atlanta, Georgia?
I can’t say enough about this place. I used to go to another tanning salon in the area and decided one day to give Hollywood Tans a try on Peachtree St. Jackie (the manager) there is awesome!! She is very friendly and has always made me feel welcomed. Actually, I feel as if I’m part of the family when I walk in there. One great thing that I like is that all beds are stand up, so no falling asleep in the beds!! lol :0) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!Pros + stand up beds, nice packages, and GREAT customer service.Cons – Parking can be a bit tough… tight places… but it’s not Hollywood Tans faught!! I still go there!
I have been a client of Kai in Sandy Springs for many years. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your health and well-being.Last year I was given a massage at one of those “discount” membership massage stores as a gift. I decided to try it out and was comparing it to Kai the entire time. Basically, I found the experience to be inferior in all areas. The waiting area was not plush or welcoming. The room I was in had 4 tables (Luckily I was the only one in the room) and did not make me feel special. The masseuse was not nearly as knowledgeable or well trained as the ladies of Kai. I could continue but I am sure you get the point.In my opinion, the price premium that may be perceived at Kai is TOTALLY worth it. I enjoy the atmosphere, the special feeling I get as a valued customer, the skills of the masseuse, and the all over warmth of the spa.Pros + Friendly & Knowledgeable Staff
I am a licensed manicurist and am very strict when it comes to sanitation. Lauren at Mind and Body Day Spa was wonderful. The atmosphere was so relaxing. She soaked my feet in a coconut milk soak, used a Fijian sugar scrub, and a coconut body butter on my feet. After she put the body butter on my feet, she wrapped them in hot towels. Her massage was heavenly. Lauren’s personality made me feel like I was with a good friend. Also, can we say the girl is clean? She wore gloves, used a foot file with replacable files, and was cleaning when I came back to give her her tip. I hate that the other person had a bad experience but they should check Lauren out; give her a chance. If you don’t like her, I don’t know if you’re human. She was so accomadating and chipper. I wish more people in the service industry were like her. 2 thumbs (and all toes) up for Lauren at Mind and Body Day SpaPros + Kind and caring staff that knows what they are doing
being my first foray into tanning salons, i was hesitant when i first walked into SST. but my fears quickly dissipated as i talked with the courteous, knowledgeable staff. a list of services and their prices is on display, so there’s no guessing game; and i never felt pressured to buy any products that i don’t need. the establishment is always clean and never crowded (i’ve never had to wait for a room to open). the business hours are more flexible than at other salons i investigated and work perfectly with my schedule. i never thought i would feel comfortable in a tanning salon, but SST put me right at ease with the casual, laid-back atmosphere. and they put a piece of candy on the table in each room! a nice little touch that goes a long way.Pros + casual ambience, friendly staff, parking
