Where is the Best Takeout in Portland, Oregon?

I go here a couple of times a month, it’s close to my office, and I always get the Relleno Burrito. I find it super tasty and full of flavor, I add some of the red sauce to the inside. Sometimes I want to try something else but I love the Relleno Burrito too much. I love the quick service and the cheapness of the food. The quality isn’t A+ but it is very good. The thing I don’t like is that I often have to call and call and call because they ignore their phone and I don’t like standing around waiting for my burrito. Also I always eat the whole thing and always want to take a nap by about 2:00 because I’m so full of deliciousness. Some of my coworkers just eat half of one but I lack their willpower.Pros + Cheap, FastCons – Parking, Service, Ambiance

Yes, Portland isn’t San Francisco. We know California has good burritos. I was born and raised there. Big forkin’ whoop – we’re talking about Oregon, Geeves. So let’s clarify: If you are in Portland (and you’d have to be to eat here) and you want to eat some legit Mexican food, this place is good. I’d call it a ‘greasy-spoon’ Mexican restaurant. If you want fruity “wraps” (gasp) or other health food, go somewhere else. The Carnitas is good. The Chicken is my favorite. And the chips are always warm. It’s also totally cheap. I am a HUGE connoisseur of Mexican food and burritos (see: California) and this certainly answers the need. And it’s a friggin drive-through. What’s better than that? Nothing, that’s what. I’m not crazy about their salsas, but they are workable. Now, if my friend hadn’t told me about this place, I never would have gone there. It looks unremarkable, it’s a drive-through(!) and it’s across the street from a drive-through pizza place that SURELY doe

It was hard at first to decide on a Recommended rating for Pastini. Then I realized I would only be docking them points because they’re a chain restaurant, a tireless machine of pasta slinging bliss. Yet, they accomplish their mission with deft organization, varied dishes, and most of all low prices. My wife got a shrimp dish and I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara. The latter of which is a white sauce with peas, peppers, and bacon. This is where their value is, even though it was between 8 and 9 dollars for each of our plates they were hearty portions. Not just a plate full of pasta, I had a succulent mound of bacon with my creamy noodles. I ate every last bite so completely that the dish washer must have been beside himself pondering whether or not the plate had been used. The only fault on Pastini’s part tonight was being a chain, they do seem to cater to the standard American palate. Entrees and salads are flavorful but devoid of any kind of spice. Caesar salad was lacking in any ev

I’ve eaten here quite a bit in the past, typically for a pizza slice and a breadstick. The breadsticks are great and the pizza is usually excellent, although sometimes it is a little burnt. When the Pizza is fresh and hot out of the oven, it is very good. I think Hot Lips needs to improve a little bit on its pizza-by-the-slice consistency, and make sure Pizzas don’t come out burnt or stay out on the display too long. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about the place. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, there is always reading materials around to read, plenty of napkins, beverage selection is very good, and lots of organic ingredients used in the food that they make.Pros + Extremely good pizza and breadsticks, good atmosphereCons – Inconsistency sometimes in pizza by the slice
