Where is the Best Takeout in Los Angeles, California?

Poquito Mas has got to be one of the top places i have ever eaten at. Their food is delicious. Some enphasise the fact that Poquito Mas falls under the category “gringo mexican food”, but i believe that it is better than most mexican food. I also enjoy this food because it is not greasy, and is nutritious depending on what you order. Everyone I have gone there with has LOVED the food. Their fresh made tortillas and salsas make this the best mexican food in California. I highly recomend this restaurant!Pros + tortillas/ chips, inexpensive, buritos and tacos

My friends ordered from this place for take-out one night, and I made the mistake of not ordering anything for myself! The food was so delicious I ended up mooching off of everyone else’s plates. I finally had the chance to try it again tonight, and the food is even better than I remember. The menu is huge, including a great selection for vegetarians. There was so much to choose from so I just played it safe and ordered vegetable masala, samosas, and garlic naan. Everything was amazing, down to the sauces and rice served on the side. The owner gave me my order and he was very friendly. The restaurant is deceptively nice inside considering it’s location (inside a strip mall). I can’t wait to go back to try some of the other menu items. Highly recommended!Pros + Food, Service, PricesCons – Parking a bit tight in the strip mall

I probably visit this restaurant at least twice a month. Food is good and dependable. Atmosphere is casual and fun. Good place for a quick lunch or dinner. Cheap prices, big portions. I could elaborate, but just read the other positive reviews and you get the idea.Several reviews have commented on poor service. I have always found the servers behind the counter to be fast, friendly, and accommodating of requests. The staff does have a laid-back attitude and is often joking amongst themselves while dishing orders. None of that has ever bothered me, but I suppose if you are uptight, demanding, or impatient, the attitude of the staff could rub you the wrong way.Give it a try, hope you like it.Pros + Lots of tables. Fast. Cheap. Tasty.

Beef ribs aren’t bad but Leo’s Beef ribs is still the BOMB!. Beef brisket is good but sauce is too sweet. Phillips took over Leo’s Crenshaw location but what ever happened to Leo’s Bar-B-Que?Pros + fair pricing, good menu, good chickenCons – bit expensive, sweet sauce

I am a transplant from NJ (which I hear vito is also) I I know my fair share of good pizza and italian joints and VITO can definitely hang with them if he was out east.i love the bread alsoPros + great NY pizza in LACons – it is a little pricey , i have had trouble parking in the mall when busy.
