Where is the Best Tailor in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
I brought my bias-cut 1940’s-style wedding gown in for alterations. I wasn’t sure exactly what it needed to fit better, but Su’s did a good job of figuring out how to take it in. I picked it up, on time, as promised, and it fit beautifully. She even checked the hem and because the lining was peeking out just slightly (I didn’t even notice) she fixed it while I waited just a few minutes so I could take the dress with me and not have to come back. I was a little apprehensive because of some reviews but my experience was great. Good pricing, beautiful fit. I’m a happy bride. 🙂 Pros + My dress fits great, good price, done on time as promisedCons – Lack of air conditioning, not a huge deal
Hubert White is definitely the nicest mens clothing store in the Twin Cities. They have good selection in all areas, with their Zegna and Boss collections being the standouts. I work across the street at Marshall Fields part time, but if I need a good dress shirt or tie this is the place I go. They have the best selection of Italian clothing this side of Chicago, although if youre looking for hipper, trendier styles like those of Prada and Gucci youd be better off shopping at MFs or Exile. Hubert White is about classically styled, superbly tailored clothing like Zegna and Canali. Their overall style leans a little more toward the old guy look, which can make it hard to shop there when youre only 21, but Ive been very pleased with everything I have purchased. The associates are very friendly and knowledgeable.
