I practically count down the days til I get a massage with Jaime- she rocks! Massage is kind of like pizza, even when it’s bad it’s still okay, but Jaime takes it to a whole new level. This is like mega-super-New-York-slice-minus-a-fat-ass style pizza, made with organic ingredients. What I really like about Jaime is she adjusts her style to suit your needs. For example, some days I just want a more gentle Swedish massage while other days I want deep tissue- Jaime listens and accommodates. She also has an intuitive sense of what kind of pressure is right for your body and what areas need focus- I’ve sent my friends and boss and his wife to her and all of us have left feeling rejuvenated. A unique service she offers is the chi nei tsang belly massage- which I frequently request. The belly is a part of the body that often gets neglected during massage but it is highly worth it to check out, and your stomach will thank you. If I could live at La Belle Day Spa, I would pack my bags immediately and head straight there. This full service spa features services such as massages, mani/pedis, haircuts, facials and even clinical procedures; talk about your one stop shop! The atmosphere is so relaxing in this small but luxurious spa, that you forget you are in the heart of Union Square. At $25 for a manicure and $50 for a pedicure this place is a little pricey for your regular upkeep, but everyone needs to treat themselves (or others) once in a while and La Belle is the perfect place to do so.
Ok so I have been going to Marilyn for the past year and let me tell u that she is one of the best brazillian waxer in SF! she is super friendly and has great memory (actually remembered details of my life..even when I see her once every 2 or 3 months! ) she is super fast n yet very detailed especially in getting rid of ingrown hair! she is truly one of the BEST! and let me tell you that it is ALMOST PAINLESS to get a brazillian done with her!! c’mon no waxing is ever painless but with her ALMOST is the word. Also, all the girls that answers the phone are super friendly and very helpful to your needs. Whenever I am late they never told me to go back home but instead they would penciled me in to see Marilyn in less than 15 min! I know that its a drag sometimes to actually missed an appointment and pay for the full amount but really time is money and we as the customers should be considerate enough to realize that there would be OTHER LADIES in the waiting list dying to be in the appoin
I have been going to Spa Luxe for over 5 months now. It is very convenient to me, since I live in the area, however after experiencing their services, I would actually drive a distance to get there. My main problem is my skin. I have been cursed with Cystic Acne since I was 9 years old. After years of visiting a Dermatologist, I was fortunate enough to have out grown the acne, but am embarrased by my acne scars. As corny and trite as this may sound, “Spa Luxe has changed my life!!”. For the first time in 40 years, I actually can look in the mirror and like what I see. Rita, who works at Spa Luxe has introduced me to a line of cleansers, etc and treatments that are amazing. She is caring, calm and welcoming and the very BEST at what she does. I have visited many Spas’ in the past, but SPA LUXE out shines them all.
