Where is the Best Swedish Massage in Atlanta, Georgia?
Came in for a massage and what I thought would be an over priced pedi. I had a gift certificate so I wasn’t worried about the cost here. I got to the spa around 9:45 am and my appointment started at 10. I was greeted with a warm cup of tea and brought into a cozy waiting room. What a treat! The waiting room had W Magazine, Vogue, Cosmo, a couple fun Buddha books, US Weekly, strawberries, cucumber water (?) and soft chairs. The massage was delightful. I had to ask for a lighter touch but the massage therapist made the correct change in pressure. The pedi was mad (never used that word before now) 🙂 fun. I read US Weekly and then napped in the most comfortable chair ever.I think this place gets the idea of relaxing and good spa services. SaraPros + The people Cons – Not much to say negative
Last spring I was looking for a spa that I could go to regularly to begin preping for my Sept. wedding. I googled holistic spa and Om Magie popped up. I was on quit a tight budget though and was not sure if I could even afford to begin a regime for my wedding. I emailed Magie and she immediatly replied and said she would customize a package to suit my needs and my budget.I do not know where to begin……Magie transformed my skin!! She spent so much time catering to me and helping me with my skin issues. She is incredibly knowledgable and I love her holistic approach and gentle spirit. Everytime I have an appointment with Magie she exceeds my time limit. She has worked on me many times for almost 2 and a half hours!!! That I must say is really getting your moneys worth. I have never had anyone spend as much time on me as Magie. I have been meaning to write a review for many months now and when I finally began and saw the 2 reviews above mine I was appalled!! Magie is amazing and hold
I had an appointment with Rachael on Tuesday 3/30 for an hour and a half Jin Shin Do session ? my first. All I can say is that it was terrific! Rachael massaged pressure points on my head, neck, face, shoulders, upper back, arms, hips and legs. Many started out somewhat painful (sports injuries, stress, etc.) but eventually mellowed, and allowed me to drift off into almost a meditative state. Overall, I found it much less painful than neuro-muscular massage, while achieving similar results. Neuro-muscular created an inflammation response that made me feel a bit dehydrated afterwards and required a bath?after which I felt relaxed, with much of the chronic muscular and joint pain alleviated. I did not get the inflammation response from Jin Shin Do, but achieved the same relaxation and pain relief. Perhaps most noticeable were my head and legs. Zero pain for two days in spite of some very intense and lengthy workouts. That hasn?t happened in years.Given my martial arts back
My husband gave me a gift certificate 4 years ago for a “Day of Renewal”. My job was so stressful and demanding that it took me 6 months to book the appointment. I had been to spas before, in Atlanta and other locations, but was totally unprepared for the Renew Day Spa experience. From the moment I walked through the front door, I was enveloped in warmth and tranquility. Each staff member made me feel as though I was the only person there, as I was welcomed and gently escorted from one lovely spa experience to the next. Did I mention the fountains and the music? Imagine yourself surrounded by the tranquil sounds of gently trickling water, soft wind chimes, soothing music. In between treatments, I was led to one of several relaxation rooms, my personal favorite being the Parrot Room. As I reclined on the red leather chaise, surrounded by tastefully exotic decor, listening to the music and the wind chimes, tears of gratitude came to my eyes! Now lest you think I was an emotiona
