Where is the Best Sushi in Salt Lake City, Utah?

The nice thing is if you want sushi and someone with you likes “regular food” they have a good variety for both of you.The all-you-can eat is great if you are starving for 30.00 but not the highest of quality sushi.the atmosphere is decent but parking is a pain – gotta walk a little ways. Sunday the parking garage is closed but some on street available within a block or so.Not a #1 pick for sushi in SLC but if you have others with “regular food” needs consider Benihana.

quit the complaining! go in and just relax. sit at the sushi bar, and its guaranteed your going to have a good time! overworked and underpaid chefs(thats just what i think, cause they are that good) always smiling waiting on that next funky charlie to serve you!!! deal with the wait at times. things get a little busy, and unlike other sushi bars, they only have 3 chefs on duty most times. unlike the 4-5 you may see at other resteraunts. oh yea, its half off sushi 6 days a week from 5-6pm. excluding wednesdays, which they run this great happy hour all night long! so to everyone, sit back, relax and enjoy the rolls!!! happiness is a 3 dollar blue moon and a funky charlie!!! get some!!!!Pros + cute knowledgable chefsCons – parking

I go to Mikado once in a while because it’s conveniently located in the downtown area, but I’ve noticed that their food and service were going downhill. The other day we went there for lunch and ordered some nigiri and ramen soup. Our ramen came first, after a reasonable 20 minutes or so, but the server still hadn’t brought us water. We had to ask and wait for a few more ninutes before she finally brought us water! NO, the ramen was not authentic at all. The ramen itself was ok, but the soup was thin and tasted like it was from a package. The pork slices were thin and flavorless. We were very disappointed. While we were having our ramen the server came and told us that 2 out of 3 nigiri we ordered were out. Thanks for telling us now!My personal experiences with Mikado hadn’t been bad until recently. Their nigiri and rolls were usually decent and the chefs and servers were usually friendly and helpful. I guess some bad ramen and service, and missing nigiri, can really ruin

I find the Blind Dog ambiance something normally found in a large city. The food Chef Penny Kinsey provides is always excellent. Presentation is an art. At times the service is not always what you want, but if you are looking for a relaxed evening, this is the place. I have always found the staff more than accommodating. The bar area is delightful and the sushi bar is a WOW! Great wine list and cocktails. I regularly find it at the top of my dining decision list.
