Where is the Best Steak in San Diego, California?
Made reservations for a Saturday night; I recommnd this!! Got seated within 5 minutes, really friendly host staff. Waitress was wonderful, so was wait staff. The food was amazing, we started with the sweet chile calamari, it was awesome; perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Finished with chocolate lave cake, it was really rich, but SO delish!! Steaks were cooked perfect as well, and trust me, we can be picky!We ended up with a bill about $150, that included an appetizer, 2sides, 2steaks, 2desserts and 2alcoholic drinks. We had plenty to take home for the next day though!! I recommend if you are looking for a nice night out with great food and service; pricey, but worth it!!Pros + Waitstaff, wine selectionCons – Valet only and a little noisey
I ate here a few months ago, so this review is a little late, but I was just surprised at how bad steaks were. I had the bone-in-ribeye, which is my go-to steak at good steakhouses and I would have to say it was the worst I’ve had at any good steakhouse. Not to mention, the border around the booth we were sitting in was completely covered in dust. Not what I would expect from a steakhouse at this level. Maybe it was an off-day, but with so many other decent steakhouses around, why go back.Pros + The service was okCons – Everything else
3 of us had dined at Dakota Grill on July 20th and were just in time for the pre-theatre dinner menu. I am typically skeptical of pre-fixed menus.
