Where is the Best Steak in Sacramento, California?
Qiet local bar with a friendly staff, they remember you if you there more than a couple times. Mix some good drinks at resonable prices. They are agood stop for an after dinner drink on the way home. The bar has a local feel of the old neighborhood bars, yet the dress may be suits to jeans. Good place to have conversation with your date, without the noise of so many trendy bars.Pros + steak sandwich for lunch
My party of 13 adults & 4 children were treated to a superb meal! Every meal was cooked to perfection, and the service was both friendly and efficient – and that rarely happens when the party is greater than 6 persons! Considering the majorty of our party ordered steak, the bill was also very reasonable.Pros + price, quality, serviceCons – none
They have a daily special; terrific beef; huge portions. A real chow-hound’s delight. Really good food and lots of it. Go early evening and you’re treated like family. We eat there every now and then and have always had a great meal. You can’t buy the steaks they serve in the supermarket for what they charge for the entire meal–great service. Tru it you’ll wonder why you went elsewhere, paid more and were hungry an hour later.Pros + parking, food, serviceCons – so-so area, drab decor, limited choices
The best Steakhouse BAR NONE! I have tried just about everything on the menu, and I haven’t been dissapointed yet, although I highly recommend their Tri Tip dinner. The portions are huge and savory. Also one to try is their award winning mushroom soup. The soup is very rich, made with real cream and mushrooms. This can be a great meal by itself or as an accompanyment to their entres. Note that this soup is usually served on Saturdays, so plan accordingly.I can’t say enough about thier staff. I held my wedding rehearsal dinner here on a Thursday and even though the Mushroom soup is reserved for Saturdays, they went ahead with my special request and served our guests this delicious treat. Everyone raved!Great place for families as well as couples, and business appointements. Kudos Buckhorn!!Pros + Portions, ambiance, staffCons – crowded weekends
I agree with the other review. We had a reservation made for a group of 10+ girls on a Thursday night and when we got there early we still had to wait for our table. I figured we could have just showed up and waited. I felt it was kind of a waste of time. The food, on the other hand, is almost always great. I haven’t had anything yet that I didn’t like and I have been to other Claim Jumpers (outside Sacramento) before and it has always remained the same. I think at almost any restaurant you never know how the food will turn out on any given day. But so far my experience there has always been a good one!Pros + Food and service is good.Cons – Long lines, long wait time, reservations a waste of time
