Where is the Best Steak in Providence, Rhode Island?
We got lucky and found a parking space right in front of Brick Alley. Not know anything about it except the awards posted by the front door, we took a chance and were very happy with our lunch. My husband’s steak and cheese sandwich was huge and very good, I chose the Buffalo chicken pizza and this was wonderful, just really tasty. My sister picked the club sandwich and it was very generous too. Can’t wait to go back and try the dinner options sometime. Our server was pleasant and refilled drinks right way – nice. The salad bar looked good. Bathrooms were spotless, which is one of my criteria for a top rating.Pros + Good food, great portions, friendly staff who looked like they enjoy working thereCons – parking (its Newport after all), not much else!
My Fiance and I went to Newport for the weekend. We found this restaurant online. We were seated right away. Although we sat next to the wait station the atmosphere was very nice. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. The bathrooms however were oddly located in the coat room. Which I find very disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. Our entrees were very good as were our appetizers. Our dessert and dessert wine was equality as delicious. Our bill was on the high side but we expected that going into it. Overall it was a good experience and we would return again.Pros + Very good meal all and allCons – Coat Room/Bathroom

Not a problem. We were looking at the menu outside of the retaurant for a few and decided to go in and sit in the lounge. When we did so a woman was now at the hostess stand and approached us with the following phrase,”Can I help you?”, what I thought should have happened is,” Hi, welcome to Fred and Steves, your table will be ready shortly.” We waited a little longer than stated, no biggie. However the bus boy was the o ne to tell us out table was ready, and when we walked over to our table, the hostess stopped us again and told us to wait. She seemed very unpleasant to my wife and I. After sitting, the food runner did everything perfec
