Where is the Best Steak in Orlando, Florida?
MY HUSBAND, I & ANOTHER COUPLE WENT AND WE HAD THE LUNCH BUFFET….OUR SERVER ARTHUR WAS FANTASTIC ALONG WITH ALL OF THE OTHER WAITERS AND GAUCHOS SERVING THE MEAT….IT WAS A VERY RELAXING TIME AND THEY DID NOT PUSH US OUT…. THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC THE WAY IT WAS COOKED AND THEY WERE EAGER TO ACCOMODATE US IF WE WANTED SOMETHING COOKED A DIFFERENT WAY.ALSO THE MANAGER “OSCAR” WAS EXCELLENT TO US HE STOPPED BY TO VISIT AND ASK HOW OUR FOOD WAS AND IF HE COULD GET ANYTHING EXTRA FOR US….HE WAS GREAT….GREAT…GREAT..WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN….THANKS AGAIN ARTHUR & OSCAR FOR MAKING OUR VISITJUST AWESOME……Pros + BEST BUFFET IN TOWNCons – NONE
Having looked around all of Orlando for a place to eat a nice dinner, we decided upon Vito’s and we were so happy we did. We started with the Lobster Bisque and the Tomato & Bufalo Mozzarella salad. Both were exceptional. These were sizable servings, so we decided to share the 24 oz Ribeye for our entree, which was a good idea. We still had leftovers even after sharing. The preparation and seasoning of the ribeye made it one of the best we both had ever had. We ordered a bottle of wine from one of our FAVORITE vineyards and we were so pleased they had it in inventory (Girard Cabernet Franc). We were told they had an inventory of 1400 bottles. The Somelier was very educated and we had a wonderful discussion of some vineyards, which was great. The server was a bit new and he could have done a better job (hence the 4 out of 5 stars). But overall, a great meal and we will definitely go back. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in town.
We went to a movie at the Winter Park Village and decided to try Ruth’sChris. We made a reservation for 9:15. Movie ended early so when we arrived it was nice to see they had our table ready for us. I haven’t been to Ruth’s in over 9 years since they moved from Altamonte Springs. But my wife has been here for dinner meetings and likes it so here we were. We had crab cakes for an appetizer. They were good. The salads were standard caesar. Wife got the filet and shrimp and I got a T-bone. I forgot about the hot hot plates with the sizzling butter but you could hear the sound as the waiter walked up to the table. Both our steaks were cooked as we ordered them and were oh so good. We shared this chocolate concoction with ice cream that wasn’t on the menu and it too was good. The room feels like a club. Dark woods but not a dark room if that makes any sense. We sat in a booth which I would recommend. Our waiter recognized my wife from some of the meetings so we got a lot of attention which
I ordered the porterhouse and it was by far and away the best steak Ive ever had. Almost two inches thick and melt in your mouth tender. People may complain about the prices, but hey, its Mortons folks and in the Orlando area you could do a lot worse for $100 + a person at a restaurant. Ive eaten at the Mortons Orlando location a few times and found their food and service to be prompt and consistently above average. Leave some room for the raspberry chocolate cake too.
