Absolute Graphics PRIME 112 RESTAURANT? WTF? First of all if you want to impress your lover with an awesome dinner date and want to spend the same amount as you would but with better service, romance and class just do the following: Call Chef Ingram @ 305-360-1352, he will meet with you to find out what will be the best dinner for your… occasion. You will not be disappointed and you will gain outrageous brownie points. Now Back to Prime 112, this place is clearly for the name brand people. People that are not concerned with good quality and service but more so with Gliz & Glam and unknown fame. The food simple is at best a high priced Red Lobster, but less romantic. Two of three of the meals we tried were sent back, The shrimp were large but fried extremely too hard, The much ordered Sea Bass simply did not taste good and was tried by two people. Although the service was good the food was over priced and with the 18% gratuity my meal for one person still ended up being $125. Further
Went for Miami Spice and HATED it. The steak sandwich had some foul smelling mushrooms all over it- those mushrooms smelled like wet dog and cat urine all in one. The service was horrible. Not sure if they decide to treat those ordering from the Miami Spice menu worse than the other guests but it felt that way. The location is beautiful, bread very good, and the filet is decent as well. Truffled macaroni and cheese only sounded delicious, when it arrived it tasted horrible- I even think it might have had some of those foul smelling mushroomsin it too. I wont go back unless it’s a Company thing and I have no choice.
After not going to a club for a while, I was invited to The Forge for dinner and then we went on to Glass. I had heard so much about it that maybe I was expecting too much. One thing, it is the palce to be seen. This is the palce to see many of Hollywood famous people. When you least expect it, one of them walks in. They are treated like Royaly. Aside from that you will Who’s Who in Miami. It is an international scene.I would recommend people to go for the experience.Pros + It’s OKCons – Overrated
We have always loved Palm restaurants, and were excited to hear that a Palm was opening in our home town of Coral Gables. However, thus far we have been extremely disappointed in the management, so much so that we no longer visited the restaurant. Recently, a close friend told us that the restaurant got a new General Manager, so we decided to give it one more shot. To say we were beyond pleased is an understatement! Michael Meyers is a warm, friendly, personable man, who is exactly what this restaurant needed!! He has made it a pleasure to dine at the palm, and we are now hooked once again!! Michael treats everyone as if they belong at the palm, making it a point to visit every table and thank everyone for coming! Kudos to the palm for hiring such a great man to run their restaurant. We now dine there weekly, and are so pleased with all of the managers, and find the service staff to be knowledgeable and friendly! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!!!!! For 25 bucks you get an All You Can Eat Meal including dessert. You go pick up the meat you want and can order it to your taste. There is also a bar where you can pick up vegetables, salads, and potatoes. My table of 3 were poor eaters and I don’t think we eat our value, we were full fast. While I tried to get my money’s worth I was force-feeding myself and wondering if others were doing the same. The meat is excellent…I nibbled on some sausage, chicken, and steak. All the vegetables at the bar were cold…not exactly what I had in mind, I don’t like to eat cold peas and carrots. The Russian Salad that they served had mayonnaise that was ranci d and we had to ask the waitress to remove it so no one got sick. The desserts on the menu looked mediocre to me…a caramel roll, flan, chocolate mousse, cheese and fruit. I ordered the ice cream (it was gelato actually) and it was suprisingly good. However my companions ordered the caramel roll and flan and were not pleased with it.
