The food is very good and is consistent at Ruth’s. The service used to be much better than it is now, though. With the new General Manager came a young, inexperienced wait staff. The last G.M. was very professional and made you feel special; as did the staff. I hope when the restaurant moves in October they get new management and wait staff.Pros + awesome steaksCons – inexperienced servers

Jim’s Place was a great surprise! Had read about it and finally had the chance to dine there! Greek salad was wonderful and my steak was perfect. There were 30 in our party and no big problems in getting the food out correctly and promptly! Menu was diverse so that everyone found something! Didn’t try any of the appetizers, but, boy, did they sound good!

Hello, I’ve never been to Folk’s Folly before but, I did get a chance to taste one of the items on the menu last year at the Great Chef’s event . I sampled one of their soups and it was delicious!!!! “for the life of me I can’t remember the name of it”. I’m looking forward to this years event hope to see you there and perhapes you’ll have that delicious soup you were serving

My gf and I could have eaten the spin dip and cajun shrimp alone and been happy, but our filets were too good to ignore. This place has Folk’s and R. Chris beat hands down. It’s just a good, basic steakhouse without fuss or formality. They also don’t charge extra for ‘loaded’ baked potatoes like some other places in town. Our waiter was excellent and we never had to ask for a thing – he also didn’t bug us either.

So I know Im not cooking, but where do we want to go? 9/10 times we end up at J. Alexanders. The atmosphere is perfect – dark wood, dim lighting. The food is very good. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only out of respect for places like Erling Jensens. Still, the food is yummy. The prime rib, crab cakes, fish sandwiches and even cheeseburgers are delicious! If you can catch them on a day that they have their smoked salmon dip for an appetizer, get it! The bartender makes a perfect Cosmo and the mac & cheese is so good.
