Years of enjoying the braised short rib, I thought it was time to try a new entree. I had the “on fire” skirt steak, what a wonderful meal. I can’t wait for halibut season to have that entree. No matter what is on the menu it is always fantastic. The service is great and it is always nice to see Chef Todd out in the dining room making sure his guests are enjoing their evening. Thanks again for a wonderful dining experience.Pros + Delicious food, Great Service Cons – I have not found one

One of the things I love about Las Vegas is finding things unexpected. That’s what happened when I ate at Vic & Anthony’s. The service, the ambiance, and most especially the food was incredible. Located inside The Golden Nugget on Fremont St., V & A’s exceeded all my expectations. If you are one of those people who only frequents The Strip, do yourself a favor and head downtown. While it’s fun and fascinating to see some of the older, classic hotel casinos, don’t feel like you have to “slum” it. The Golden Nuggett is Strip quality and size, however it has the convenience and charm of the Fremont Street Experience. Try Vic & Anthony’s, you won’t be disappointed.

Circus Circus Steakhouse is not what one would expect when you think of Circus Circus Hotel. My wife and I have ate here four times, with only one time not being as good as we hoped. The NY Strip and Rib eye have both been very good, and prices are quite reasonable considering the other alternatives. The cooking area is located in the center of the restaurant with glass partitions all the way around it so you can watch the chefs in action. The dining area is moderately lit which makes a fairly romantic experience. Each time we have ate here it has been busy, and we had reservations. We have not encountered a problem with over abundance of kids that seems to be the norm for the rest of Circus Circus hotel. Overall, this has become of our choices places to go to when we visit Vegas.Pros + Good Food and ServiceCons – Maybe lacking consistency on food quality

We made spur-of-the-moment lunch reservations last Saturday while in Vegas for the weekend, as we had heard that the view was great and the food was to die for. When we arrived, we were surprised to find a security checkpoint, but I guess you can’t be too careful these days. We took a quick elevator ride to the restaurant, and were promptly seated. The view was just incredible–the rotating restaurant took a little bit of getting used to, and it took my date about 5 minutes to overcome her initial vertigo, but it was the highlight of our afternoon. Our waitress (Jeanne from Long Island) was very kind and personable, and when we couldn’t decide between getting the Tower Salad or an appetizer, she helpfully recommended that we split a salad and get an appetizer as well. When the salad arrived on two smaller plates, we were amazed at the quantity of salad–there was plenty for both of us. The salad included Mixed greens with Anjou pears, apricots, candied walnuts and Balsamic vinaigrette.

I took my wife and daughter here during spring break. Whow. We each ordered a different kind of steak. Each came out exactly as ordered and at exactly the same time! The steaks were a lot bigger than expected and we had to ask for doggie boxes. (We finished it off the next day!) Great wine selection. Great service. My only complaint is the table are too close together and if the people next to you do not bump you, the waiter does as he passes between tables. They need to rearrange the seating. Ask for a corner table to avoid this problem. Pros + Great big fat juicy delicious steak!Cons – Tables packed to tightly!
