Where is the Best Steak in Las Vegas, Nevada?
My husband and I decided to try Lawry’s after driving by it last time were were in Vegas. We made our reservations online and noted that we wanted a quiet table since it was our anniversary. We were given a corner booth away from a large party with kids. Our server (who was introduced by last name-Miss Strohm) came to our table and the first thing she said was “Happy Anniversary”. She walked us through the entire process and explained everything on the menu. After being served a mound of really good sourdough bread and a cold salad (with a chilled fork) from the spinning salad bowl, our carver came to our table with the carving station. He served us the cuts we requested with the sides we asked for. While I have had an occassional prime rib that was a better cut, the aus jus and horseradish sauces were outstanding. The potatoes were really good as well. I think my husband would have licked the plate if he could have. At the end, we were given a piece of cake with a smally pie
My husband and I were on vacation in Vegas for his birthday and treated ourselves to a steak dinner at Gallaghers. We had heard that the food was great, but the service was just okay. And with those expectations we actually got just that. We had made reservations and when we showed up we were seated immediately. Our assistant waiter came over quite promptly and served us water, but we waited about 5 minutes before our server even stopped by even to say she would be a few minutes. And when she was asking us about our drinks to start we still hadnt been given the wine menu. We ordered an appetizer and when it arrived my husband didnt have any silverware. I had ordered a salad so I took a break from the appetizer and to my surprise the next thing put in front of me was my steak. The only comment I made to them about my salad is that now that my dinner was served to me, I didnt want my salad to come out. Our server seemed very surprise to hear that it never was given to me. Now t
I think the title of my review says it all, but I will elaborate. With so many powerhouses like Picasso, Prime, and big brother Le Cirque, you might think that Circo would get lost in the shuffle. However, competition has bred a winner in this wonderful Italian eatery. First, we were seated at a drippingly romantic windowside table with a lakeview. This was perfect because during dinner, Andrea Bocelli’s “Con Te Partiro”(otherwise known as the Bellagio Song) accompanied the watershow. Long story short everything from the sommelier’s wine selection to quality of the petite fours was top notch. If you’re looking for contemporary Italian cuisine, you’ll be hard pressed to beat this winner.Pros + Excellent Food, Excellent Service, Excellent Decor
Caesars Palace intentionally cancelled my room for Thursday, Oct 26th because they thought they confirmed me at rate that was too low. My feeling is that a deal is a deal. How can you cancel someone after a reservation is confirmed? You really start to lose trust in the management staff that allows this to happen. I looked for over 3 hours for another room. It really messed up my day.
