Where is the Best Steak in Lancaster, Pennsylvania?
In the tiny square of the little town of East Petersburg lies this fancy restaurant. Pricey but good. Excellent wine selection and daily chef specialties. Could use a little kick in the spice department dishes need a little pizzazz of flavor (we like to taste all ingredients and spices) but classic elegant dining experience. Excellent olive and rosemary bread and great service. Dress nice and enjoy a candle lit dinner. Not open on Sundays and has an upstairs. Make a reservation and specify if you cannot do stairs.Pros + Wine and cordial selection, professional chef onsite daily, classicCons – parking when busy , Not open Sundays
A loyal Outbacker no more! Being from Texas, I consider myself a connoisseur of fine beef and short of Morton’s, Smith & Wollensky & Ruth’s Chris I have not found a better steak than at Doc Holliday’s. I don’t know how they do it but I hope the keep up the great work. I was at the Log Cabin 2 weeks ago and paid $30+ for a filet mignon that did not hold a candle to Doc’s.Pros + Beef Quality, Beer Selection, Friendly Service
Texas Roadhouse, The place for steak. We visit this location at least once a month and have never been dissatisfied, even the one time they were out of medium Prime Rib. County music, boots and your Cowboy hat and you will be right at home. Just walking across all the peanuts shells knowing that you do not have to clean up makes the wait worth it. If you have kids they will love the place and they have a small sirloin steak on the kids menu so they do not feel let out. Prices are not bad for a family of 4 eating steaks out with all the fixens’ There is one trick if you are a local. NEVER just show up on Friday or Saturday and expect to eat soon. I typical see the wait line being between 1 & 2-1/2 hours. They do not accept reservations, but there is a trick. Call ahead, check how long the wait is, have your name put on the list, go to a movie, than show up for dinner. I highly recommend them.
