the food is always delicious, no matter what trulucks you go to. the crab claws and the carrot cake hit the spot everytime. my boyfriend and i love the 35$/person full course menu, a 3 course meal for 2 for under $100, such a good deal considering the quality of food. we ate at the mckinney location for the first time a few weeks ago. it was our mistake for not making a reservation beforehand on a friday night, so wait time was expected. my only complaint was that our server was not very attentive; did not even get our drink orders until about 15 minutes of waiting at the table. manager was making walk thrus and brought us our bread and butter after our salad was served. none of the other servers seemed to have as much trouble with balancing their tables as ours, but it is partly our fault for not reserving on a friday night, her service definately doesnt change my opinion about trulucks in general Pros + great food, good wine and menu selectionCons – unattentive waitress

Lawry’s is a fanastic restaurant to visit with family or someone special! The decor is very sophisticated, old-money, without being pretentious. Reservations do not guarantee that the table is ready when you arrivfe, but usually ensure quicker seating. Dress is business casual, though we did see a party waiting in jeans and medical scrubs…but don’t go there, it was not appropriate. Service was prompt and very polite, which I even noticed at surrounding tables under difference wait staff…there really is a difference when your waiter is clearly an established, experienced professional (versus someone waiting tables through college). The food is fantastic…even the complementary, warm sourdough bread! I got the ceasar salad, filet mignon with parmesan crusted au gratin potatos (which were heavenly and decadent) and onion crisps. Our desert, creme brulee with fruit, was the only thing that was just so-so. Feel free to play around with Lawry’s signature spices on each table, wh

I concur : THE BEST FRENCH DIP that I have ever eaten anywhere. It’s served on a toasted soft sub roll with fresh baked Prime Rib piled high on it (whatever color that you prefer) and steaming hot Au Jus to dip in. The whole thing comes with a choice of soup or salad, fresh home baked breads, and a lovely strawberry dipped in rich dark chocolate! It’s a wonderful feast even for my hearty appetite. My wife actually found this little place first, when she was looking for a nice quiet place to have “afternoon high tea with her girlfriends”. They were getting very tired of the “not so service-people and extremely high prices” that they encountered elsewhere (like a hotel that starts with an ‘A’) where they were usually having tea at downtown, so she looked around to see where else in town served High Tea. She found several including Eden. They started meeting for tea at a new place each week, but were finding very mediocre food and service with high prices, UNTIL they found Eden! She

I was referred by a friend of mine so probably had very high expectations; but the food was good and I was say an excellent value.
