My #1 recommendation is the cowboy cut. 16ozs of pure pleasure. Make sure you get it cooked no more than medium. The ranch dressing is fantastic. You definitely can’t go wrong with fresh baked rolls with cinnamon sugar butter to lather on them. The ribs are fall off the bone style and tender (not traditional slow cooked real barbecued ribs, but none-the-less delicious). Servers are always friendly and the atmosphere is always pleasant. Great place to eat if you just want to kick back in a t-shirt and jeans!!! YEEEEEHAAAWWWWW!!!!Pros + reasonably priced, menu variety, consistencyCons – appetizers are so-so, serves alcohol, group seating is limi

Wife does not like it all that much. I think she is more of a deep dish kind of pizza lover. Kids and I love it. We think it is the best pizza in town and reasonably priced. Have gotten one pizza overcooked, but when it is done right, best pizza around (and we have tried them all).Worth trip from Mason at least once per month to go and order at least two larges. Ambience is OK, but usually we get them to go. We are very picky pizza people so for me to say anything complementary is good.

My wife and I went to Jeff Ruby’s downtown to celebrate her 5 year anniversary being cancer free. I only mentioned the reason for our night out in passing while making reservations. The hostess seated us, then congratulated my wife. The Maitre’d stopped by our table to congratulate my wife. Our waiter was outstanding in his attention to detail. The food was out of this world. I had steak, my wife had fillet mignon. Everything cooked perfectly to order. No detail was overlooked. My wife was presented with serving of cheesecake with a candle at the end of our dinner. Again, a small, but thoughtful touch. I woould highly recommend Jeff Ruby’s on Walnut.

The scenic drive from the city’s downtown core to The Precinct ended in what seemed to be a different time period altogether. The Precinct resides in what used to be a patrol house. Its eerie atmosphere is generated by old brick walls, haunting black and white photos of criminals and officers of times past hanging throughout, and a feeling of confinement while dining that must have been felt while these cells were occupied by these empty expressionless faces in the photographs. It is nothing but thrilling. There is some unexplained connection you feel with the history when you dine at The Precinct. My girlfriend and I had planned to try The Precinct’s famed steaks. She ordered the Carson Palmer filet and I chose the porterhouse. While both steaks were cooked to perfect pink and they were melt in your mouth tender, we were both shocked at the amount of peppercorn ‘seasoning’ were caked on the outside of the steaks. After one bite my eyes were watering and my nose was beginning to drip.
