Where is the Best Steak in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Texas Steakhouse is AWESOME – The food & service are always exceptional. Me,my husband and our kids eat their quite alot because of the choices on the kids menu and when we ask our children where they want to go they always tell us Texas Steakhouse. There usually is not to long of a wait when we go there to eat even though the restaurant stays busy. The manager Robert is always great and makes sure we are happy when we dine there. The Marshall Dillon is worth every penny.Pros + everythingCons – nothing
T-Bones has really gone down hill the past few years with the food and service. I went there a few months ago with my spouse and stepchildren and were not impressed at all, after not going for a couple years. Food was bad, portions were small, no flavor, expensive prices, lazy service, ouch!! I was thinking a couple years ago we went on an off night, but apparantly not. Also, a friend of mine got kicked out of the restaurant by the owner last week for buying VIRGIN strawberry daiquaries for his daughter and her friend at the bar and went back to his table with his group. The owner, who did not have a name tag or even introduced himself as the owner to my friend asked him if there was alcohol in those drinks and he said no. Also, my friend thought that the owner was going to flirt on his daughter. Very unprofessional. Of course my friend got a little mouthy and concerned. If the owner would have introduced himself FIRST and said who he was, none of this would have happened. I
Aw…the venerable steak chain. One of many in bustling CLT but this one is worthy to note. When it comes to steak, these guys have it figured out. After eating at The Palm, Morton’s, Sullivan’s, Capital Grille, Beef & Bottle, and a few other premium restaurants that serve steak on their menu, Ruth’s Chris is the clear winner. If you think all high end steak restaurants are the same, think again. Here, you’re greeted by warm hostesses who immediately make you feel invited. Usher yourself into the cocktail lounge and you’ll meet some of the friendliest bartenders in CLT. Robin and Michael are both worth introducing yourself to. If you’re by yourself, you know how much you appreciate a warm and friendly bartender. The steaks and lamb are served to perfection and always have the best carmelization. Their sides are great and their warm bread plate pleasing. I haven’t had their seafood but it looks divine. Trust me on this one, as a connoisseur of good steak, it’s worth the price
I heard many things about B&B and after living in CLT for several years, I finally gave this old staple a try. When I walked inside the door, I felt like we stepped into a time warp. This quiet den was dimly lit and had several framed pictures of old Hollywood stars adorning the wood paneled walls. When I said wood paneled, I mean painted plywood. The place had character and was fast becoming an experience. Once seated, the waiter took our drink order. The glasses of wine are extremely healthy and their cocktails generous. We ordered our steaks and delighted that they all come with a salad and side. The salad is unique in that it comes out as a plate of lettuce and all your accoutrement’s (cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, etc,) are served on a platter for you to choose what you want.
