Where is the Best Steak in Atlanta, Georgia?
Recently we had the pleasure to go to The Warren Club, above our old fave Dark Horse Tavern. It’s private, and admittance with a member is required. We climbed those stairs above the Dark Horse, and entered into a refuge away from the masses. This is at the top of the Highlands, and a great outdoor patio, overlooking the street scene. What a great change of pace. Within a few minutes, everyone knows your name, and they make you feel welcome. The owner, Kristy Warren, came up and gave us a wonderful introduction. The drinks were liberal, the buffet was terrific, and we just had a great time. If you want to bypass those long club lines, putting up with out of hand drunks, and want a nice experience, this is it. And joining The Warren, is on our list, we owe it to ourselves.Pros + Privacy, Great Music, Drinks & Food! Friendly Members!Cons – Need To Get In Better Shape For Those Stairs! LOL!
I’ve always heard stories about Fogo de Chao since I’ve been living in Atlanta. All good tales of smorgasbords of meat, sides, and cheesy bread. I was nonetheless taken aback when my girlfriend and I ventured there on the day of love, Valentine’s Day. It was very busy, luckily we made reservations weeks in advance and were able to be sat immediately. When seated we were given a play by play of how the restaurant works. You have unlimited reign of the well stocked salad and cheese bar. To signal when you’re ready for something a bit more heavy on your stomach, there is red/green card on your table. When you’re prepared to experience the fine cuts of steak, pork, and chicken, simply turn the card over to the green side and unleash hell. You will be bombarded with “meat runners” brandishing skewers of hot, sizzling, meat for your gastrointestinal pleasure. The top sirloin steak is one of the best seasoned pieces of meat I’ve ever had. I literally said, “Oh my God!” at first tast
A great spot for a romantic dinner and also a girls night out! This place has an old city charm to it with a upscale diner kind of feel. You would never think the inside looks the way it does from the outside. Vickery’s looks iike it use to be a house that they remodled. Great outside patio overlooking the Midtown skyline with a even better menu to go with it. I ordered their cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is so different with little pieces of pepper in it but is sooo good! I have also heard their tator tots are incredible! Centered right in the middle of Crescent Street, this is a great place for a dinner before a night on the town!
Had some great rolls at this restaurant. From what I can remember the service was fine. The atmosphere was fine. I wasn’t really paying attention because my girlfriend and I came here with some family after she got ran into by some on Ga 400. So this dinner was occupied with different thoughts. The rolls were exceptional. My girlfriend had told me about the rolls a thousand times, but I didn’t fully understand until I tried them 1st hand. They are little Krispy Kremes, as long as you put the cinnamon butter on top of them. The steak was fine. Not comparable to the steak I had a Chops, but still exceptional. They put a lot of seasoning on the steak, which kind of ruined it for me. What I am trying to say was that it was extra salty for no reason. The steak itself was tender and moist, so I don’t understand why all the need for that seasoning, or what it felt like seasoning. I hate to complain about good food, but when comparing to my other experiences I am just trying to pick out a few
