Every time we go to the Outback, we have amazing service, perfectly cooked food and great fun! Managers are constantly walking around making sure you are enjoying your meal. Wait staff has only a few tables each so most times they are taking care of a need I didn’t even realize I had. Dinner time waits can be long, but if you call in advance and put your name on the wait list you shouldn’t have long to wait upon arrival. Kudos to the person grilling those steaks! I’ve never had a steak that wasn’t cooked to perfection!
My husband and I have been spending the month of August in Lenox, Ma. for about 12 years and always make it our business to have a couple of meals at the Dakota. We love their steaks, salad bar, home baked bread and service. It is very child friendly and the ambiance is lovely. You can call ahead and tell them what time you will be there, so you don’t have to wait so long. (Don’t tell everyone that).
This Rest was a blast. Service was great, and waiter left nothing to be questioned. Even apologized for coming over to make sure everything was OK. It was a cool day and the fireplace was lit (even in the middle of May!). Cliff’s is an overall great restaurant. Their specialty is the prime rib and it is definitely something special. It comes in varying sizes, but each is terrific. The Crab legs are exceptional also. The rest of the menu is average except for their coleslaw which is unique and out of this world! The atmosphere is noisy and informal — so if that is your thing then you will like it.
