Where is the Best Sports Bar in Nashville, Tennessee?
The Committee, aslo known as TC , meets at the Corner Pub (CP) on a regular basis. As of late, D-Money (also known as The Circus Monkey) and Pimp-O-Grapher have been holding down the fort . Their support has kept the lights on, the beer flowing-cold and has allowed every CP waitress to buy a new Mercedes Benz ( resulted from the stimulus package of course!). Other selected members, BIG RC has been busy with storytelling, G-Money has been jet-setting building the roads that link the world (how was Dubai?) and J ” Boss Hog” M the IV has been tied up in court with his sweaty sear su cker. JGloooof ??- last I heard he was in Wyoming inspecting some beef for the CP Monday smokeouts. The wait staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable about the various beers CP has to offer. We requested a cold beer that contain alcohol and all of our expectations were met. The wings are delicious. Just do not drop them on the floor. The bouncer got upset but could not do anything about it because he is
If you like live music, go at night on a weekend. No matter how busy the place is, good service seems to be easy to find. I never had to call for anything. the food is great, especially for the price. I am going to keep this review simple. If you like the bar atmosphere, and the slightly aging Cool Springs crowd, this place is worth trying. As I mentioned in my McDougal’s review, Jonathan’s has better chicken than McDougal’s. Pros + great service, great prices, good foodCons – lonely, sad, old working people on sunday nights 🙂
don’t get me wrong, I like Mafiaoza’s, but it really isn’t because of the pizza. Tuesday two for one is pretty enticing. But it is hard to get excited about the pizza. two things that make great pizza to me are the crust and sauce. mafiaoza’s has great crust, but the sauce really lacks, the last couple of pizza’s I got barely had any at all. A friend ordered the buschetta and it came as a big loaf of bread with the tomatoes just poured over the top. Not really appetizing. For happy hour go to Mafiaoza’s, but for Pizza go to Angelos Picnic Pizza.
This place has very decent food. Sometimes it’s “eh” but other times it’s great–it really depends on the item. While I only just started going, my impression is that the menu has been improving. A lot of the other reviews are much older. All I can say to the complaints is that any medium-to-low priced food joint will have variable service. One review mentions Subway. I’ve been to Subway and had terrible service. I’ve also been when the service was great and the food was proper. This place is no different. I’ve never had bad service here, but to those who have I would say come back at a different time and see. Overall, the draw here is the ambiance and the variety. The menu is wide–you won’t find a similarly broad menu anywhere close by. This is a place where a family could bring the kids after church and have a solid meal. At the same time, a bunch of college friends could come sit at the bar, watch a game and choose from a large variety of beers. Restaurants like Applebee’s or T.G.I
