Where is the Best Sports Bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
NBA City’s atmosphere is someplace I would be proud to take my family around. If you’re with the pickiest of eaters (like my former fiancee), they have familiar food with a twist that even the pickiest of all eaters would enjoy. I would highly recommend their wings and their ever popular hamburgers. Even though I haven’t eaten them before, my non-vegetarian friends LOVE their burgers and wings. One of the things I’ve eaten before, the Margherita pizza, has a thin, crisp crust and the sauce is a tangy marinara with fresh tomatoes topping the fine mozzarella. The eating experience is enhanced by their amenities. There’s high speed wifi so you can surf the web while snacking on your succulent and juicy wings and television screens showing many games of importance (Yes, Timberwolves fans, that includes even Nuggets games) and even English Premiership soccer, Australian Football League and Rugby Union and Rugby League games from all over the world. What a beautiful atmosphere…! Floor to ceiling windows, exceptional patio area, even the parking was great- but shouldn’t the service reflect a positive image too??? After being Sat, Aylicia our server came over and greeted us about 10 minutes later. No greeting, no smile, no class. I asked for a water “no ice” she brings me ice water (had wisdom teeth pulled and I told her that). My date asks for a Vodka Collins, that tasted more like fermented sweet and sour then it did alcohol. No apology, not even comped off our tab, our server clearly knew that so far we had nothing but “bad tastes in our mouths”. She blames the service on her bartender. My hamburger came with fries and 1 burnt chicken finger. Kudos on the burger, at least they did something right. I didn’t know fries came with the chicken fingers now…? I understand accidents happen, but EXPEDITE the food before you bring it out to your customers! I love Champps, I am a regular at 3 of the other locations in the Twin Cities,
