Where is the Best Sports Bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota?

This is a good place to meet up with friends / coworkers after a long day at the office, after a victory on the ballfield, before or after a concert or just for the heck of it. The food here is really good, cant go wrong with the buffalo chicken sandwich, pasta a la gabes, any type of burger or chicken nachos. The servers are very friendly and attentive. If you are a Packers, St Paul Saints or Iowa Hawkeyes fan, stop in for a game or two, you wont be disappointed.Pros + Food, Service, Game Time AtmosphereCons – Parking on SPS Nights, Bathrooms

Living in New Jersey, I don’t get there often enough, but when I do, Bullwinkles is the first stop. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold (& cheap), & the food is outstanding! They have a prime rib/grilled cheese sandwich that is out of this world!! My associates get out there every couple of years, and the staff welcomes them by name as they enter. Ya gotta love a place like that. Bullwinkles is the BEST.Pros + atmosphere, value, friendly serviceCons – too far from Jersey

I have been here about 5 times. Twice in the dinner area and three times in the bar. The food is good, but the real reason to go is for the atmosphere in the bar (which is loud and usually fun). Sludge and Lake are occasionally in the bar doing their radio program, which provides extra entertainment. The TV’s are huge and the bar is set up well and has many house specialites. The main rooms don’t have any TV’s which is dissapointing for a place the is more of a sports bar then a restaurant. Long story short…skip everything else and enjoy the bar and the great atmosphere!Pros + bar, TV’s, drinksCons – sit down area

The open area is nice, but our table was in a strange place. Temperature of the place it self, was also strange. Hot, then cold, then hot….Food was mediocre. The pasta item I asked our server about he didn’t know and wasn’t about to check with kitchen on. My chicken on my sandwich had a wierd yellow sauce on it. My ‘double-garlic’ mashed potatoes were cold with no garlic taste at all. I couldn’t tell the server because he never returned until it was time to offer dessert (and spill water on one of us), which was ordered and overcooked. I would not try this place again, unless it would be to hang out in the bar. Otherwise, nothing that memorable about it.Cons – Service

This is a great hang out place. Whether you’re looking to play pool, darts, go bowling, or hang out at the bar, or order food… there’s something for everyone. Used to be a lot more fun when they had more pool tables. They used to have 7 pool tables, but took 3 out and put in a very loud, annoying mini bowling game. What were they thinking– when they have 20 real lanes next door? Now there are lines on the weekends to play pool, and it’s a little crowded. However, overall, it’s a great place to hang out.
