Where is the Best Sports Bar in Denver, Colorado?
I honestly cannot for the life of me figure out why there are so many people on here saying that everything about this place is horrible. I’d suspect that either they’re not very familiar with brew pubs and breweries, or their standards are set way too high and they’re closed off to trying anything new. As for people complaining about service, I’m willing to bet they were either there during a busy time of day or were expecting way too much out of their servers. My husband and I recently went to Bull & Bush with a friend, our first time there, to try their brews and have some lunch. While I can’t say that any of us are beer experts, and we don’t brew ourselves, my husband and I are beer nerds, as we call ourselves. We love beer. Good beer. We’ve been to a ton of local breweries and brew pubs here in Colorado, and are wanting to eventually visit them all. We’ve had some really bad beer and some really good beer, and Bull & Bush’s brews rank towards the top of the list of good be
Buffalo Wild Wings is the closest thing to the Anchor Bar that you are going to get here in Denver. The wings are awesome and on Tuesdays they are only 35 cents! They have 16 different saucecs ranging from sweet and tasty, to run across the street to the fire station, hot. Great place to catch the game or hang out. They have NTN trivia and a good selection of music on the jukebox. They could benifit from a pool table or two, but need all the space they have, as the wait for a table is a little overwhelming for a sports bar.
We have been going to Grand Slam off and on for years and have always had good service and good bar food. No this is not Del Frisco, but it doesn’t claim to be either. I was amazed to read a previous review saying what horrible service they had and how bad the food is, we have always been seated promptly and treated very nicely by the various servers and hostesses we have dealt with. We have had to wait on food, drinks etc. at times, but only when it was very, very busy. It is much better there now too since the non-smoking ban went into effect in July. That was the only negative thing I ever would have said about the place in the past was the smoke smell in the building. I think it is a fun place to go with a group after work for drinks. Also, if you ever had a problem with the service there ask to speak with the manager, I know him and he would make anything right that you felt was wrong with the service. Give it another try!Pros + Good bar grub, nice friendly staff, prompt
Legends is a great choice when you need catering! We had 20 people for a lunch event and Legends was able to provide a great selection for our group. They actually had a pizza special going on at the time of the event, so we were able to select many different toppings for our guests at a very reasonable price. If you haven’t had Legends pizza….you are missing out because it is excellent! We also ordered a large buffalo chicken salad that was a hit! All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty! I will definitely use Legends again for catering an event! The food was GREAT and the cusomter service OUTSTANDING!Thank you!!!
