Where is the Best Sports Bar in Dallas, Texas?

If you want a dive bar, this is it! The drinks are cheap if you go during happy hour. I would recommend the cheese fries (the best in town) and tacos. The service is not always the friendliest, but it’s a great place to catch a round of pool or darts, watch a game on the many TVs, and question the collected dust on the light fixtures…Pros + inexpensive, good bar food, pool tables, dartsCons – friendly service, dusty in places, bad parking

For the most part, I think Champps is an alright place. The food is pretty decent, and you can actually get some fairly decent tasting stuff. But if you’re going to do that, I’d recommend actually sitting in the actual sit-down dining section rather than at the bar. One of the main reasons to head here is because of it’s close proximity to the Tollway. It makes for a good meet up place for happy hour. Decent drink prices can be found then, and if you want, you can grub on your typical bar food and it won’t set you back a paycheck. Worth checking out every so often.

From the fish sandwich to the chicken fried steak to the tuna melt – YUM! This is one downtown bar/restaurant where no one is putting on ‘airs’ – and they don’t have to – what they offer speaks for itself! Real, genuine, friendly staff, amazing food (I mean everything on the menu is fantastic), great bar selection, super-clean and plasma screen TVs scattered throughout – it’s all there. And the prices are way reasonable. I’ve been there during peak lunch rush times and on several occasions have watched the Mavs games there in the evenings – always entertaining. This is a perfect downtown location to meet before/after a game or concert – hang with friends – watch a game – without having to compromise food/service quality. I highly recommend. We even used the place for a private party/reception – all our guests (approx. 100?) were AMAZED. Press Box Grill – corner of Elm/Ervay. Pros + Food, service, atmosphere, location!Cons – Don’t forget to pay your meter! Still cheaper than lot p
