Where is the Best Sports Bar in Baltimore, Maryland?
Sliders is awesome. I moved to Baltimore in July of 2005 and have been coming to Sliders regularly since then. I always order two dollar PBRs. It is extremely close to Camden Yards, and is a great place to watch either the Orioles or the Ravens. At first it might seem like an average neighborhood bar, but during the game, it is the closest thing next to having a seat in the stadium. Pros + Good Service, Friendly Bartenders, Extremely Close to Camden Yards and M and T Bank Stadium.Cons – Parking?
I ate at Porters on a Sunday evening in Dec 08 and it was pretty packed, but not so crowded that there was a wait. I went with my two toddlers and their grandparents. Really liked the variety on the menu and the chicken cheese steak was excellent. Only negative was the long wait for the food to arrive and their was a bit of an attitude given from the bartender when we asked that they change one of the stations to show a different game. She indicated she’d do it in a few minutes, but then failed to change the channel. I can give her the benefit of the doubt, given the amount of customers she was trying to cover, though she seemed annoyed at my request.
