Where is the Best Sports Bar in Baltimore, Maryland?
If you’re a tourist with more money than taste, this is your place. Overpriced, mediocre food in surround-sound. It’s a shrine to American sport, with an uninspiring menu (mostly saloon food that’s poor value). Was dragged in with friends visiting from out-of-town. Friends wouldn’t make friends take them to this place. If you have kids, they’ll enjoy the games. If you enjoy watching televised sport, you’ll love it. If you want a decent meal in a relaxing atmosphere, this isn’t the place.Pros + Fun for kids, Good to watch gamesCons – Loud, Overpriced
Mothers is a fantastic place to meet people around the federal hill/downtown area. I enjoy going there not only for their happy hour specials (especially the tues 1/2 price burgers & the wed $1 shrimp orders!) but also for the Purple Patio pregaming parties before the Ravens play a home game! While it isn’t always the youngest crowd, some hotties are always lingering around 🙂 It’s especially good pickings on a BSSC gameday! The food is by no means 5star or the best i’ve ever had – but for bar food – it’s normal.Pros + lots of people tomeet, beer selectionCons – gets really crowded
Max’s is great. So many great taps and bottles to choose from. One of the largest beer selections I have ever seen. The staff is absolutely great. The first time there they make you feel like a regular. Plenty of televisions for sports watching and plenty of specials to try and make those Bud drinkers more open-minded!! Did I say the staff is wonderful?Pros + Lots of Beer, Staff, Fells Point
