I have been going to Jax Cafe in Beautiful Nordeast Minneapolis since 1965. Over the years I have had club and business meetings, and business and personal lunches/dinners/brunches at Jax. I had my retirement party in the Cosmopolitan Room in 2002 with 150 guests. My church celebrated our 90th Anniversary with a dinner for 255 happy guests. I continue to see past business associates, who I previously introduced to Jax, coming in to entertain their current business contacts and to enjoy their own personal and family celebrations. The pianist plays my favorite song, “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. That’s what I always receive at Jax is, “My Way”. The food is of the highest quality, the service is excellent and friendly, and the managerial staff is always congenial and professional.

I have been to itchiban on several occasions. I really love the lighting and the chefs are great and friendly 4 out of every 5 times I go. The service for beverages or anything from the kitchen directly leaves much to be desired. There has been an occasion when I walked up to the manager to ask for my beverage since I had not had one refill and the meal was over and our waitress had not returned once. Don’t expect great drinks or fast refills but when you go and are friendly to the chefs they make it a great experience where we have even brought the little ones and the chef did wonderful tricks for us and always makes us smile. They even stopped and told my daughter to sit back before the lit the big fire and made sure she got to see all the fun that is cooking at the table.Pros + Ambiance, Character, Fun ShowCons – Drinks and Refills

This was my first time at Arezzo. This place was recommended by a friend. I didn’t make a reservation, but went early on a Saturday (5 p.m.). Lovely and prompt service. The place got busy between 6-7 p.m., but our service didn’t deteriorate. Appetizers were clamari (that was melt-in-your-mouth tender) and spinach in olive oil, garlic and pine nuts. Just enough garlic to flavor the spinach, but not overpower the dish. My entree was a pork loin chop stuffed with apples, italian ham and cheese on top of garlic mashed sweet potato and a cream sauce. Wonderful! Portion was exceptional, very filling, tender and moist. For dessert, three of us share the tiramisu. It was a huge portion. Although it was delicious, we couldn’t finish it. This wasn’t “done up” tiramisu, (I’ve had tiramisu at other gourmet Italian restaurants where they put orange zest in the dessert, which overpowered the dish). This was the traditional, well done tiramisu! This fine fare was priced right. Nice restaurant for fr

Kincaids makes fantastic food. You get what you pay for though as well. The restaurant itself is in the ground floor of an office building. It has nicely maintained gardening around the dining area to separate it from the building entry. Still, you can get the feeling you are in a big food court.Menu choices are varied and they have many temporary or seasonal items so you can always find something new.The bar is rather drab and smells of smoke. They could use better air scrubbers. The bar usually has an array of saloon specialties that are available almost immediately. So if you are rushed, you have multiple choices.Overall, it is good, but can become expensive to eat there regularly.Pros + friendly staff, good foodCons – food court atmosphere, expensive

My husband and I went to the Inn for dinner on Fri. night, the day after Valentine’s Day. I thought it was very beautiful, romantic, and cozy. My husband thought the steak he had was a little grisly, but my tenderloin was perfect. Also, the wedge salad was delicious. Overall, we had a great time. Can’t wait to go back and stay overnight next time!
