Where is the Best Special Occasion Dining in Dallas, Texas?
I love this place! The staff is friendly, they’re affordable (for sushi), and everything they Roll is tasty. Their variety of overstuffed maki rolls (my weakness!) keeps me coming back — Blake Roll is probably my favorite, closely followed by Lauren Roll. I also recommend their Rolls with fruit in them,
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TO DALLAS AND I ACCIDENTLY FOUND D’S LAST RESORT WHILE I WAS LOOKING FOR TGI FRIDAYS. MY FRIEND HAD TOLD ME ABOUT IT BUT I DIDNT KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO FIND IT ON MY OWN. BUT I DID AND I’M GLAD. ME AND MY TWO BEST FRIENDS CAME TO DALLAS FOR A GIRLS BIRTHDAY GETAWAY WEEKEND. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT IT WAS A CASUAL FUN ATMOSPHERE. OUR WAITRESS WAS GREAT SHE ASKED WHERE WE WERE FROM AND EVEN INTRODUCED US TO ANOTHER GROUP THAT WAS VISITING FROM THE SAME STATE WE’RE FROM. SHE ALSO HELPED US SEARCH FOR NIGHT CLUBS IN THE AREA SINCE WE WEREN’T FROM THERE. WE ORDERED DRINKS AND THEY ARRIVED WITHIN MINUTES OF US ORDERING THEM. THE MENU DIDNT HAVE MANY SELECTIONS BUT WHAT DID CATCH MY EYE WAS ON THE APPITIZER MENU. IT WAS THE CRAB SPHERES. OH MY GOSH THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS. AFTER ORDERING OUR MEAL IT TOOK APPROX. 10 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE ORDER FOR US TO GET OUR MEAL. EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR US TO GO WE ASKED FOR
We went to Capital Grille (uptown) for our anniversary last year and were very, very impressed. First of all – if you are celebrating a special occasion, be sure to let them know when you make reservations! We got there to find that our table had “Happy Anniversary” confetti sprinkled down the middle, a card signed by staff; a complimentary photograph was taken, our dessert was on the house, and I (the lady) was given a rose. Lovely experience! Now to the food…can I just say DROOL….! OMG…I ordered the French Onion Soup as an appetizer, and it is the best I’ve ever had; hubby had the lobster bisque and said it was the 2nd best he’s had, the first being when he was on a business trip in Maine, so there you go. My filet mignon was positively melt-in-your-mouth delectable, as were the garlic potatoes, and hubby loved his steak and asparagus as well. This restaurant and its staff are the most amazing combination in exquisite dining I have ever seen. The service was impeccable, the food was something I’d only dreamed of, and the ambiance was divine! No matter where you sit in the Mansion restaurant you will be pleased however, I highly recommend reserving the Chef’s Room. You pay more but it is so very worth it! We left feeling MORE than satisfied, knowing we got exactly what we paid for. We plan to go back regularly. If you’re thinking of going to this restaurant, you won’t be sorry!
