Where is the Best Spa in Detroit, Michigan?
I was a customer at Gina Agosta’s since I can remember! Then, at 14, I started my first job as a cleaning girl at this salon. I continued to work there until just a few months ago when I graduated from college! Working at Gina Agosta Salon throughout high school and college was the best experience I could have asked for. Working behind the scenes, it was clear to me that these stylists truly care for you and want you to always look and feel your best! John and Gina, the owners, strive every single day to make each customers experience the best it possibly could be. This salon is genuine, the owners truly care, the stylists/colorists/nail techs/etc. are all down to earth, yet very talented people. I don’t know many people who can actually say they love every single person they work with- but I really could! There is not one person I would not trust there to do my hair. This salon in downtown Plymouth offers all the amenities and services – facials, massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures in a serene atmosphere. Yes the cost may be high to some, but well worth it for a special treat.
I have to say that it is a real shame the way that the Hair dressers were treated in this salon. They are gifted and all around wonderful stylists and the woman who did my hair did a hands down fantastic job. But the management was the worst thing i have ever seen, first i was treated very rude by the man/woman that answered the phone, i couldn’t tell if it was an old man that answered or a woman who is a heavy smoker, then a young girl at the front desk was too busy talking about something very inappropriate to be bothered by an incoming guest to stop her vulgarity from coming out of her mouth, then when i was waiting for my service, a man with long blonde hair and glasses was yelling at all of the employee’s like a mad man. in front of me cursing about what does he pay these people for. i am truly at a loss, i loved my hair and the hair dressers treated me like a celebrity, even ones that werent even doing my hair. one of the male stylists even approached me while i had color on my h
