Where is the Best Spa in Detroit, Michigan?
I had the most lovely relaxing day. I got a gift certificate that I finally reemed, even though it was expired the staff was gracious enough to let me use it with no hassels. All my services were top rate. Not only is it beautifully decorated but is quite, private and so pampering also. I had a full range of services including a manicure and pedicure as well as a facial and massage. I love the fact that are there tools are sterilized the same as they are at a hospital. I have very sensitive skin & this is the first facial I’ve had with no breakouts or sensitivity and my massage was pure heaven without feeling so sore the next day. I will be back as a client again very soon!!Pros + private & personal
I used to recommend this spa. Several family members got gift certificates because of my recommendations. My sister made an appointment a month in advance. When she showed up for her appointment, the manager said the person she was scheduled with quit several weeks ago and was not sure why no one had called to change the appointment. Needless to say, my sister did not feel like the “center of the universe”, as Somata Spa claims. He did nothing other than to offer an appointment on another day, as no women massage therapists were available at the time. I have had no problems in the past with Somata Spa, but do not know if I would recommend a high end spa that did nothing more than say “I’m sorry” when handling a problem like this, especially when they require a 48 hour notice for a customer to cancel an appointment.
