Where is the Best Spa in Denver, Colorado?
I called and scheduled a same day appointment for their signature facial and swedish massage. On their website they have an ad that offers 10% off same day appts. but I didn’t recieve mine and didn’t realize it until I got home. However, I was late for my appt. so maybe the discount doesn’t apply in that situation. That being said, the massage was one of the best I have ever experienced. My therapist Holly was very knowledgable and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about her. My facial was so relaxing that I think I actually fell asleep for a little while. I do regret not being able to enjoy their quiet room for a little longer and I’m bummed that I didn’t recieve my complimentary glass of wine but again, thats due to my tardiness and not to lack of customer service. The front desk was actually very nice and accomodating and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all for being late. My first visit to Studio Urban Wax was just a couple of months ago and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. I went to Waxing the City for my very first time ever and I really hate to say poor things since most everyone I met there was nice but I just did not have a very good experience there. Thats when a friend of mine told me that I had to try going to Studio Urban wax. I had the pleasure of meeting Sorina who is a tier 2 and she was just amazing. As weird as it sounds, it really didn’t hurt that bad! I have a pathetically low pain tolerance and I’m really not kidding when I say it wasn’t terrible at all. I guess the main difference between Waxing the City and Studio Urban Wax is mostly the vibe that you get when you come in and of course, the quality of the service you get. I felt so at ease when walking in Studio Urban Wax and at Waxing the City I showed up 15 minutes early and I still felt as if I was being rushed. I left feeling stressed. I love going to renaissance. The facials are terrific, the pedicures make you feel like a queen, and the brow shaping and lash tinting are top notch. The only problem I have ever encountered came when I booked my husband a massage. They used the room that they do the body elixers in which has spray nozzles above the table. While the body elixers are great, using the room for a regular massage was a bit strange and sterile feeling plus the nozzles leak. My husband didn’t know what the room was for and didn’t notice the water nozzles at first so when he was face down he thought the therapist was sweating when the droplets hit his back. I have been seeing Kristin or “KJ” for about a year and I absolutely couldn’t be happier. I had tried the expensive salons in Cherry Creek and Riverfront Park hoping for a cut and color that matched the hefty price tag, but I was never super pleased with either. Most of the time they would give me “their version” of what I wanted! After trying out Allure and being randomly placed with KJ, I knew i never wanted to go anywhere else! She starts with a consult which is great. She asks a ton of questions to make sure she knows exactly what you are looking for before she gets started. I don’t feel rushed and she truly listens to your requests. I normally get all-over color and cut but recently tried double-processing my hair with a few highlights for depth and movement and she is AWESOME! I get daily compliments on my hair and color and it looks so natural it isnt immediately apparent that I get my hair colored… now that’s skill!.
