Where is the Best Spa in Austin, Texas?
Laser hair removal is more addictive than crack!!! It is fabulous? I originally started off with my bikini and underarms, but over the past few months I have added almost all of my body parts below my eyebrows J It has been the best investment in my body that I have ever made and ultimately a huge money saver (no more shaving cream, $14 five-blade razors, waxing, etc.). Even better, having no hair and smooth skin has added spontaneity to my life! I NEVER have to think about shaving my bikini line or legs before putting on some shorts or a bikini (or going on a date with my boyfriend)! I did a ton of meticulous research before I decided to get laser hair removal and can not even count the number of various consultations I went to. Elements by far had the best vibe! The office is so unique, the treatment rooms are sanitary, they use the best lasers, and the staff is very knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. I have had all of my treatments with Jessica (she makes the process so enjoya
Jessica at Bella Salon saved my wedding last week! I live in Brooklyn and got married in Austin in late May 2009. I had heard great things about Jackson Ruiz and wanted them to do my hair for my wedding, which was at noon on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. During a trip to Austin in January, I went to the salon and scheduled an appoinment at 8 a.m. the day I was getting married. Initially, the staff was great–they were opening the salon early for me, given my noon wedding. About a week and a half before my wedding, I was calling all of my appointments to confirm the time, and the stylist who was scheduled to do my hair no longer worked there. No one had called me at all about this until I reached out to them first!!Over the next few days, I spoke with three different people at Jackson Ruiz, and each said that they would get back to me the next day if anyone would be interested in taking my appointment. I didn’t hear back from anyone at all until 3 days before my weddi
I went to the downtown location and at first I was a bit thrown off by how busy 2nd street really is. I’m never downtown and was making this my first Milk & Honey visit not knowing what to expect. The Austin Chronicle had awarded Jessica for best brazilian waxer and I wanted my first brazilian to be easy. Booking with her can be difficult, so I recommend planning a day to see her since she only works Thursdays and a couple of Sundays a month.Jessica kept the room dark and relaxing, having a lamp where she needed it and light out of my eyes. I didn’t feel overly exposed and the bed was actually warm and comfortable. She kept my mind off the waxing through conversation and talked to me about how to prevent ingrown hairs. She had suggested getting a package of waxing for a discount and I’m definitely going to do that the next time I get paid. I’m hooked. What really made my day was that I was in and out in 20 minutes! They validated my parking for city hall and I got to enjoy 2nd stre
