We went tonight, before a performance at Trinity Rep. We were early, at 5pm. The restaurant staff was busy helping to set up for the free Movies On The Block, next door, so our server got somewhat sidetracked, initially. Once he was done with that, our service was fine. The Fruit and Cheese Board was a perfect starter and was more than we could finish. The berry, pear, apple choices were paired with just the right cheeses. I had the Tomato Basil Panini, wonderfully crusty. My companian had the Tazza Cuban. She really enjoyed it – it was meaty and the sauce served on it was a great compliment. We chose to have our sandwiches with salads. The house salad was flavoful and not wilted, but was also not crisp. We were served a bottle of water, but had to ask for ice. On a very hot day, attention to these details might have scored them a 5 stars We passed on any deserts or drinks and had dinner for 2, for under $40. We will be back !Pros + Great foodCons – Slow service

If you like uppity attitude and waiting a long time for your drinks, bevo is your bar. Sure they do have a boatload of creative martinis. Sure the place looks great inside but do you really want lip service from the staff if you happen to sit down on an empty seat? Unless you’re VIP, I’d just go someplace where they value you. Pros + Lots of martinis to choose fromCons – Uppity attitude

If only I lived closer to Providence I’d go here more often. This is s good place for any sport fan who likes to hang out and watch some TV. But if you want to dance and meet some new people, then there is a room to do that too. Prices are reasonably priced and the staff and management are all friendly and very social. The only thing that is bad about Snookers is actually getting there. It can be a pain finding it if you’ve never been before, but once you’re there, it’s worth it.Pros + Price, Attitude, AtmosphereCons – Just finding the place

We went to Mario’s Bravo for brunch after my husband went there for a business lunch. Overall we were very pleased, especially with the waitstaff, decor and general quality of the food. Some foods were on the bland side but the only dish I was seriously disappointed in was the chicken (chicken francaise?), sauce was bland to the point of invisibility.Pasta was generally good and the breakfast items were quite tasty (with the exception of the sausage- flavor was ok but they were cold and very hard!). Standouts were the made to order omelets, waffles and the homefries.Lots of fresh fruit and yummy desserts. Our only other quibble was the mimosas were extra and cost $6 for a very small glass.Price for brunch was about $21 per person, a bit pricey for regular visits, but fine for a splurge was in a great while.Pros + Service, decor, ambience, omeletsCons – some food not up to par, parking is tight when busy
